Killer Guides for Aion Assassin

The first couple of levels were ok, slightly painful but it seems to get longer and longer as you play on. Anyway the same friend that recommended me start leveling the assassin, said grab this guide and have a read it will save you a massive amount of time in leveling and learning to play every aspect of the class.

Now some people say don’t bother playing an assassin, but if you have the skills in this guide you can make it work exceptionally well. The Killer Guides Assassin Guide deals with everything you need to know so you dont end up walking around like a noob with the wrong gear and skills. I found it very useful as not only does it recommend where to go to level but what gear you should be grabbing and where to get it.

They even say you can level your assassin within about 2 weeks, now im no hard core gamer (married with kids) so i don’t have a lot of time to stuff around figuring out all of the intricacies of this complex class, so i found i could just read this guide and it was like having a pro teach me the skills so i could just go out there and play with no stress.

What are the best Assassin Macros? As the assassin is such a keyboard mashingly friendly (or unfriendly) class, macros are definitely your savior here. There is a list of the best macro’s and how to use them effectively in this guide that i found excessively useful.

So anyway as someone with not a massive amount of time to enjoy the assassin class, it was great to be able to read a guide written by someone who actually knows the ins and outs of the class and exactly how to level it, and gear it properly so i could just get straight into the fun that is Aion.

Combat strategy
The combat strategy for Assassins may sound simple: "Kill fast; don't die," but there's obviously some strategy involved in that. How should you best fight while flying? Player vs. Player
You know Aion is a PvP game and Assassins are usually the best PvPers, right? This guide covers PvP as an Assassin quite well. You might dish out high damage but you can't take much of it, so what are some of the strategies that will make you successful? With every new MMO that hits the market there is a massive influx of new strategy guides and more than anything else there are a number of new gold guides. With Aion, we have Kinah, but the same things are holding true – people want their cash.

I’ve been reading through a few of these things in recent weeks, wondering if anyone could have really put together a halfway decent guide yet for Aion. The truth is that most of them are pretty basic, just going over the ins and outs of the economy.

There isn’t much else to talk about this early on. But, with the game evolving and more people getting to Level 50, there are a lot of opportunities for new guides to hit that can actually help you make some serious Kinah.

The first one I’ve found is Aion Wealth, the newest guide that touts its ability to show you all the different aspects of Kinah making. Aion Wealth does a lot of things right, and only a few things not so right. I’ll ignore the shortcomings, because frankly, this guide is pretty darn good and I don’t want to make it seem like there’s anything wrong with it.

The long and the short of it is this – Aion Wealth shows you how to start out from nothing and learn the economy inside and out so you can start making Kinah without having to think about it. We’re talking about the Trade Broker, the Private Store, and everything in between. This guide shows you how to maximize profits with crafting, trading, and grinding – not using just one but combining them into a series of quick and well planned actions.

In short, Aion Wealth is exactly the kind of guide you need for a game like Aion. There are so many ways to make Kinah, but none of them are truly exceptional. Combining them into a streamlined cash model like this is the best way I’ve seen yet to load up on the stuff. In short, this guide is pretty amazing, doing everything you could ask for and so much more.
What Makes a Good Kinah Guide these Days?

As you can guess I’m going to talk about a new Kinah guide I read this last week, but first I wanted to ask that question above – what exactly makes a good Kinah guide?

The answer is a bit different than you might be used to for other MMOs. Whereas other games are built around the idea of loading up on as much gold as possible with as many strategies as possible, Kinah is a bit tougher. You’re not going to get rich by farming hot spots in this game. You need to be able to create a series of simple strategies that can be automated into one streamlined approach.

Basically, you ought to be farming, grinding, crafting, and trading all together to make your cash flow happen. That’s new and it’s making a lot of people grumble because they’re not getting the Kinah they want.

That’s why Aion Wealth is a pretty good guide, one of the first I’ve read for this game that delivers on its promises. Whereas other guides toss out useless low level strategies, this one focuses on how to choose the right craft, find the right recipes, grind your way around the Abyss and into fortresses, and then sell everything you make on the Trade Broker and in your Private Store.

That’s the best way I can see to make Kinah and the insight you’ll gain from this guide is going to make it all seem like second nature. The long and the short of it is this. Aion is a tough game. You had better be willing to dedicate some time to it if you want real cash.

With a guide like Aion Wealth, you can make your life a whole lot easier by knowing exactly what you should be doing before you start stumbling around the countryside trying to find elite mobs that will never spawn and farming on gathering nodes that will never sell. For that reason alone, this guide is worth the asking price.

Aion kinah hack part 6

Weaponsmithing is a profession in Aion that is used to create essentially all of the metal based weapons used by its characters. This includes the swords, daggers, axes, polearms, and maces. Warriors, Assassins and Chanters will all need these items at some point, which gives this profession a nice platform from which to make Kinah – they have a far greater installed base of potential customers.
How to Make Kinah with Weaponsmithing
For those interested in making a profit with weaponsmithing, you must start with reaching the top level and then getting the materials required for it. The cost of leveling up Weaponsmithing can be rather tremendous on its own, so it is recommended that you don’t start past level 199 or so until you are in your 40s or level 50. This will help you level it faster and more efficiently.
Additionally, you should save all of the metals you gather from the world as these will be in high demand for your crafts. If you see good deals on the Trade Broker, pick them up quickly too as these can always sit in the Warehouse for a while until they are valuable again.
Ultimately, you will need to spend a bit of time creating your recipe stock as well. This needs to be done in the Abyss where you will also need to stock up on Divine Power to help proc out some rarer items that will sell for more Kinah. You need to talk to the NPCs located in the fortresses in the Abyss. These are only available to you if your faction controls the fortresses so you may need to participate in some PvP as well to get this profession leveled up.
Flipping Profits
Once you have your recipes and your materials, you should focus on crafting items with high demand – this includes two handed weapons with slow cast times and high DPS ratings, as well as certain one handed items like swords and daggers that can be used by a dual wielding Assassin or Gladiator. Make sure to focus on the ones with the highest demand and attempt to proc the rarest forms of those gear recipes.
Once you have created your items, use the Private Store or Trade Broker to sell them off. The Trade Broker is best for items with high demand. Anything else, including set pieces should be sold on a one on one basis where you can guarantee a profit on your investment.

Handicrafting is the grab bag profession in Aion. Anything that doesn’t fit into other categories is dropped into this one where it can be crafted for a pittance and resold for a solid profit. The key to this profession however is not in finding the best items to craft, but in specializing in one type of item. Because there is so much variety here to choose from, it can be dangerous to just craft whatever you have at the time and not focus on one particular option.
What Can Handicrafters Make?
First up, you should know what you can make with this profession. You’ll usually find that the most profitable items are the earrings, necklaces and rings that are used to boost certain small stats and that can usually only be obtained in rare quests or from Handicrafters. Every character in the game needs these for their slots and you can offer some pretty good stat boosts with them. To take advantage of this though, you’ll need to gather some gems, which are the rarest and most expensive node in the game to extract.
Additionally, you’ll need some noble metals and a good amount of Divine Power and Aether to craft the higher level items. However, unlike the other gear crafting professions, the profit potential is all but guaranteed with these items because of how useful they are. I recommend aiming for higher level items though and trying to proc the rare ones first. The lower level stuff may sell, but guaranteeing a profit is much harder.
Staves and Bows
In addition to the fine metals and gems you can craft together, there are a number of different items you can craft with this profession such as bows and staves. These are used by Rangers and Clerics – both of whom need their weapons to be highly stat boosted. This profession is a good choice if you happen to be either of those two classes, but can also be beneficial to someone with a good Private Store plan or Trade Broker strategy to sell them.
For anyone interested in handicrafting, the key is patience. You will need a good amount of time and Kinah to level the profession up to a point of profitability and when you get there you will need to find a good revenue stream and then market it to it exclusively. But, if you can do that, you’ll be highly successful.

Aion kinah hack part 4

As with other MMOs, the tailoring profession in Aion is used by players who wear cloth armor to make their own gear. However, in Aion, it is also home to leather armor which will make this a more diverse profession than many others. That said, it falls into that gearcrafting category that so often makes it hard to draw a profit. You’re going to need to focus intently on getting your character up to a certain level where they can make a decent amount of Kinah off of each thing you craft. That can be hard, especially when you take things like the cost of rare materials and how hard it can be to proc those rare items that can drop at the top end of some professions.
How to Make Kinah with Tailoring
To get started, you need to go into the Abyss and start gathering a few things. Beyond the cloth and leather materials you’ll gather back in the normal world, you will need to start gathering things like Divine Power, which is obtained by fighting and defeating the Balaur mobs in the Abyss. You will also need to gather Aether which is found throughout the game in the nodes above many towns and cities. Finally, you need to obtain rare recipes that are purchasable from NPCs in the fortresses of the Abyss – which you can only access when your faction controls them.
When you get all four of these things, you can work on proccing rare items than the standard recipes you will be using. This will allow you to get the highest level gear that your profession can create, which will ultimately sell for millions of kinah. Keep in mind however that the creation of those items will also cost you millions of kinah – the profit margins are only as great as the rarity of the items you create.
In addition, it takes a great deal of time and Kinah to level up a gear crafting profession, so it may take a great deal of time to get yourself to the upper levels of this profession where you can make a good profit.
One thing to keep in mind though is that Tailors can also craft belts, something that all players in the game need, regardless of their armor class. This is a highly valuable item that you can sell at the Trade broker or your Private Store for a decent profit. It doesn’t work on its own to make Kinah though as demand is usually only as high as one per player.

Cooking is one of the two professions in Aion that allows characters to sell consumables to other players. It focuses on the creation of stat boosting foods that are highly valuable for characters going into end game instances and PvP situations. That said, the ability to make solid profits with cooking items is hard for many players because of things like demand and location. Here are some tips to making a solid Kinah profit on Cooking.
How to Make Kinah with Cooking
To start with, it is important to reach the highest levels of the profession. Cooking is, luckily, one of the few professions that will let you make a profit before you reach the Master status, but it isn’t that much, so you need to hit 399 quickly and start getting rare recipes and materials.
There are more than 50 different materials you can gather for cooking, plus various reagents and drops from mobs in the game, so it’s not an easy process to farm up the rare items you need. So, I’ll recommend looking for your materials on the Trade Broker when the prices drop down. This will happen more often than you might think as most non-cooks will sell off everything they gather as soon as they have a chance and not know what it is worth. Keep a solid stock of these materials in your Warehouse and then don’t worry so much about paying exorbitant prices when it comes time to make something.
Next, you need to get the rare recipes from the Abyss that you can only get when you control the fortresses there. I recommend checking once a day and buying when you have a chance.
Turning Your Materials into a Profit
Now, you should focus in on a few different types of food and start creating a profitable strategy. For cooking items, the best place to sell them is in front of an instance or in the Abyss, because of the immediate demand that often pops up here. Make sure to offer a good tag line for your store and then be active in chat drawing attention.
Focus on making foods that boost the stats you know these players are interested including things like Magic Boost, Critical Hit, Attack Power or Flight Time – basically anything that buffs powerful combat stats. If you do this, you can usually help ensure that you make a more consistent profit over the life of your account.

Aion kinah hack part 2

One of the first professions that appears in any MMO is Alchemy – the one and only profession that most guilds look for when they start putting together their end game needs. In Aion, this profession continues to provide as it does in other games – with potions and scrolls to be used in end-game content. In addition to those items, Alchemists can also put together spellbooks and orbs for use by casters.
How to Make Some Kinah
In terms of how best to make a profit with Alchemy, there are a few ways that are going to turn a solid profit in the game, no matter how you look at them. The first of these is to make the necessary potions and scrolls for end-game content. You’ll do better if you gather your own materials, but most end game items made by Alchemists will sell for more than the materials you buy at the Trade Broker.
The key is to find a good place to sell them. There is the Trade Broker, but for many Alchemists, a better route is to set up shop outside of instances and in fortresses in the Abyss where you can market directly to the players who need the items most. In this case, you can usually use a markup of between 50% and 100% at these locations due to the convenience factor (and because even veterans regularly forget to pick them up before they head out of the capitals).
Other Ways to Make Kinah
Potion brokering is not the only way to make Kinah with an Alchemist though. Additionally, you can load up on manastones and use your manastone conversion ability to change them into ones that sell much better. A Level 450 Alchemist with a good stock of reagents can turn the worst manastones they can find (which can cost as little as 500-10,000 Kinah) into top sellers like Attack, Critical Strike, and Flight Time – all of which sell for 5+ digits at the Trade Broker.
As far as professions in Aion go for making Kinah, Alchemy is among the most profitable for a variety of reasons. In addition to helping you save immensely when you reach level 50, it has more than one way to make money off of consumables and to transfer materials so that they sell better. If you are interested in a straight Kinah making profession, this is one of the first you should consider for your character.

Aion kinah hack, the armor and gear crafting professions

When it comes to making Kinah in Aion, the armor and gear crafting professions are at a distinct disadvantage for a few reasons. To start with, these professions take a much greater volume of time to get anything done with. You need to level them up to start with, which can take hours and hours of work order or recipe crafting. In addition, leveling up a crafting profession like this can cost you immense chunks of Kinah.
Once you reach level 450 and can start crafting the higher level items that are available through Abyss recipes, you’re going to need to have a good strategy to sell them off at the Trade Broker. There are a few ways to go about this, but it is going to take some solid salesmanship to get you started.
How to make Kinah with Armormsithing
To start with, you need to load up on Divine Power and Aether from the Abyss. You can gather Divine Power by farming on the various Balaur mobs in this zone. While in the Abyss you should also work toward making sure you control as many fortresses as possible. This will allow you to buy more of the rare recipes that are available at this level and up.
In addition to the gathering of materials and recipes, you now need to gather materials for crafting. It can cost quite a bit to buy them straight off the market, but they also take a while to gather on their own as most Unique and Legendary gear will require between 10 and 50 materials each.
Once you have gathered what you need, it is time to use your Divine Power to try and proc higher level gear out of the recipes you have gathered. This can be a very hit or miss process, so make sure you are at a full Level 450 with Armorsmithing before you try it. That way, you minimize waste.
Selling Your Gear
Once you proc that super rare gear, you can focus on reselling it on the Trade Broker or in your Private Store. Be aware that it can take a good long while to resell gear because the market is always so limited. But, leave it up, be realistic about your profit margins and you will always make a solid chunk of Kinah in return. In addition, you can attempt to find people willing to hire you before you craft anything – this will reduce the drain on your resources before you make a sale.

Aion kinah hack, start making Kinah in Aion

There are a number of different ways to start making Kinah in Aion. One of the earliest you will encounter is the gathering skill that all characters start the game with. It starts out as the collection skill, which will take you up to level 10 when you ascend. When you get to that point, you will then start extracting materials instead of collecting, allowing you to gather the essence from ores, plants, trees, gems, and aether nodes throughout the game. While every character can collect any of the various extraction materials, it is a long, hard grind to level up that extraction skill and it is quite pricy to master it (well over 2 million Kinah), so many crafters are willing to pay dearly for the rare materials that extractors all over the world are gathering.

How to Make Kinah with Extraction
The first goal of extraction is just to keep up with your skill levels. Basically this means that every time you see a node, you extract from it. It might take a lot of time, especially when you get into a new area and find that the nodes there are all higher level than you. There is a chance that you will fail on all nodes down to 20 levels below you, so you’re going to be doing a lot of this and it is time consuming.

But, on the plus side, you can gain XP from these nodes as you farm them and there are a few select quests that allow you to gain additional XP by gathering certain materials. You’re probably not going to make any Kinah on materials you gather before Level 10, but after that, you can start gathering Aether, which floats above most major towns and cities.

Get off Poeta .....! Then talk to the Teleporter in Sanctum – he has a repeatable quest that can be repeated up to 100 times per character. This quest rewards 100 EXP and 500 Kinah – EACH, and only takes about 2-3 minutes to complete each time. We’ll assume 3 minutes even though thats really a high amount of time. By the time you have done this a few times, it should take you 2 minutes each run.

Lets do the math:

3 Minutes x 100 Quests = 300 Minutes or 5 Hours

500 Kinah x 100 Quests = 50,000 Kinah

Thats 50,000 Kinah in less than 5 hours!!!

The next repeatable quest is right outside of Verteron Citadel — The Tog Daeva who wonders around the town. He too has 100 Repeatable quests with the same rewards.

This means you can make an easy 100,000 Kinah in about a day!!!

Tutorial HowTo download, compile and start and the AionEmu Emulator:

1. download and install "Novo's EasyAIONEmulator Repack"

2. look at "VersionInfo.txt". If you want to use this Version, just click on: "Start AIONEmulator.bat"
Then you can Login with every combination of login/password that you want.
Account is creating automatically on Login!

3. if you want to update your Server to a newer Version for yourself, go into the folder
"SVN AIONEmu Source" and click on "SVN Update Aion Source.bat"

4. after that go into the folder "SVN AIONEmu Source" and start
"Aion Build LoginServer.bat" and after that "Aion Build GameServer.bat"

6. unpack the ZIP File "ae_login.zip" from "AION Emulator source SVN\aion-emu\trunk\AE_LoginServer\build"

The highly anticipated MMO game called Aion was officially launched by NCsoft last September 22, 2009. With a preorder sales of almost 400,000, Aion Massively Multiplayer Online game amazingly outpaced all major MMO games that was also launched this year.

Explore the World of Aion now! Assuming that you’ve already installed Aion in your computer, the first thing that you have to do is create an Aion acount through their website. After you have succesfully created an account, you can now run the Aion client and login using your username and password. Server selection screen will load up and you just have to click and highlight which Aion server you would like to play. You must remember that once you’ve created an account on a specific server, you can no longer transfer your account to a different server so if you and your friends would like to play together, you must create an Aion account on the same server.

For first time users, make a new character by selecting a Race. There are two Aion Races recently available – Elyos and Asmodians.

After choosing a Race, you can now proceed which Aion class would you like to be – Warrior, Scout, Mage and Priest. Just click on each character and a brief description and skills will show up or visit the Aion classes page for a detailed information about different Aion classes. Also, choose the sex type of your character. Click on next to continue and your own your way to customizing your character’s appearance.

There are many preset faces to choose from and each part of the face is also customizable like ears, face, brow and lips. You can also choose hair color and hair types, tattoos and decorations. Body type is also customizable so you can make your character sexy and gorgeous looking if it’s a female or make a boy next door looking guy. :P

Lastly, you can select to 4 different voices. To hear each preset voice just hit listen button.

When you are already satisfied on how your character looks like, just hit the Create button and this will lead you back to the Character Selection Screen.

To start playing Aion Online just select your character on the screen and click the Start button.

Complete the DP Skill Quest Quickly

The quest that needs you to cast ten times the DP skill (in my case, sorcerer, it was Tranquilizing Cloud I) can be easily completed this way:

Cast the spell, and before the casting is complete, have the target move outside the max range (25m with Tranquilizing Cloud I). The skill will not come out nor the DP will be consumed, but it will count towards the quest completion. The easiest way to do this is in a duel (preferably with someone who isn't laggy).

Elyos Kyola Temple Range Invincibility Attacks

Behind the temple itself and up against the wall of the mountain base, you will be able to "fall through" part of the textured 3d0 of the mountain meeting the base and if you zoom your character into the "see through the eyes" type of view and look down you can look inside of the temple itself from behind the temple without even going inside of it and fighting all of those mobs.

Now I tried targeting mobs (which you can do) and tried hitting them as a Ranger (line of site problem) However this has not been tested with other classes. Spirit Master may actually be able to hunt like this, I'm not 100% sure but this is still a nice little texture exploit that may be able to be worked with into something leveling wise... or healing wise etc..

included is a somewhat accurate Location of the messed up mountain meeting the base of the ground.

You can go in it, people can't see your character only the glows on your character and your character name though.

I'm not sure if mobs were able to hit you if you lured them from above to that spot and went invisible and them hit in mid air but still nice little bug that may work with something else on here.

It is a clerics to guiding for you in aion world . I hope this guide can do you a favor when you are playing games in the aion world. And this guide is especially for the people who have crazy interest in doing their job as a healer in the groups. This is useful and vital for clerics with a basic build. Of course, there is other build later .

This guild covers many kinds of content. It can help you to find answers and suggestionts when you are lose in your game. Maybe you have no ideas abut if cleric is the right class for you. When you choose a cleric ,what to expect? Stave or shield while in a group? There are so many questions like this. So come here ,you will be clear about all these problems .
Is cleric the right class for you?

At the beginning, you should know what are clerics. Clerics are one of the highest survivability classes in the game, in PVP and PVE. Not only can we heal but we can defend ourselves pretty well with our shield and wearing chain. When fighting multiple enemies root is your friend and kiting seems to help out to even let us solo elites.
Now, you are expect to know clerics. When you choose a class at level 10, you must make decision because you cannot change your decision again.. I believe you have your own idea on if the cleric is the right class is suitable four you . Choose or not , it is up to you .

when you chose a cleric what you expect to get ? If you are a cleric, one of the most important responsibilities is grouping up. You are the essence and every member depend on you . How to keep your group alive. Maybe it is easier to make your leveling solo go smoothly than dps classes. Maybe you have special ability to heal yourself and you could continue going depend on your mana pots . However, you will feel sorry when you use up your mana. Now, I think you have ideas about what you expect to get when you are a cleric.

Next question is which one you will choose, stave or shield when you are in your group? Many people like to use a stave to achieve your upgrading. Actually I often prevent from it. Because shield is not taken for block value and its mitigation. That is it. Tomorrow I will give you some new suggestion.

Stigmas is useful sooner or later in your group. The flash of recovery is necessary when you are grouping . Heals a target with 23m of you by 1194. Because it can save the skin of your tanks or others when they get agro. You are warned that you should not depend on it much although it has a thirty seconds cooldown. There will be trouble if you use it in a wrong way. Then I will introduce the blinding light. You can blind your target for 20 target . In other word, the enemy could not be able to beat you much during 20 second. Many people regard blinding light as a PVP skill actually it is not the fact . Players can make advantage of this because it can help migitate damage whenever your tank is fighting with many enemies or when you must offtank one. It can save you some aion kinah . The last point is about the sages wisdom. It decreases the casting time of all your magic by 50% during 10 second This is a real life whenever the tank falls in trouble .

Now we are talking about the question that is how to preserve Mana when you are grouping as a cleric. There are a lot of neat stuff at disposal to preserve Mana. But you should clarify something. Mana treatment and Mana Potions do not stack. Players often try to use Mana treatment as much as they can but when they get hit by a mob and rooting seems impossible a potion comes in handy. There is also Penance that is our magic trick to get so much Mana back but to it will cost our HP. That is reason why the players use it with their hot and when they are having a rest.

Mana increases quickly and the players can easily go with the a little their health being lost. You should protect your Mana for bad things happen suddenly. Maybe if players trust you are a healer they will not mind getting low health. So this allows you to rest more between each heal. If you could heal for 50% of somebody health, please do not use it until they are down to half health.

How to deal with enemy when you are fighting? You will never have to offtank when things are going good, if you have a good tank chances. A good tank marks every mob and what I try to do is to keep focus on the mobs which aren't dps'ed on because most likely those are the ones that would like to put their swords in you. First you have to do as fast as possible is use
Tranquility whenever you see a mob stray away from the tank. You have to be careful with it, because if the tank picks it up again before you have cast your spell you would lower the tanks emnity. Healing range is depend on players style. Clerics do many things relaying on the play style. It is depends on the clerics.

Now we are talking about movement of aion clerics. Maybe you should move a lot then you are alone. Please do not stand when you are in group. You should pay your attention to healthbar of your party. This is good but you should be alert to the whole surroundings. It is necessary and important to consider what will happen next. Also your compass will tell you when pats are coming and what mobs are close, so compass is in your consideration.

And then this is something about healing light. It restores the HP of a target within 23m of you by 93. It is a really the basic heal and has a 2seconds cast. This is important and useful when damage steadily comes in or when your Radiant Cure is on cooldown. Of course, it is useful when you do not have enough time to cast a radiant cure. It is very cheap in mana cost but you do not get much healing out of it. Comparing to other heals, this one gives less heals per second.

Aion Spiritmaster Gathering Trick

Before you start crafting, you need to understand gathering. Gathering is the process of accumulating materials required for crafting. There are tons of gathering nodes sprinkled all over the landscape. Gathering in Aion has a leveling system, which means that you cannot gather some items until you’ve reached the right gathering level.

You can start gathering at level 1, and although it’s time consuming to gather everything you use, it’s best to start doing it from the beginning. There are several important reasons to improve your gathering skills, even though you decide never to take up crafting. One is that you actually earn a small amount of XP from gathering, which may not seem much compared to the amount from grinding or questing, but during your early levels they do help. Another is that at later levels you’ll encounter quests that require you to give an NPC a certain amount of say, fruit. If you don’t have the proper gathering level, you can’t get this fruit. You may be able to buy them at the Trade Broker or a Private Store but don’t always count on this, and may also sell for ridiculous prices. And finally, crafting materials sell well on the Trade Broker, so you can make a profit from selling them. However, some sell better than others, so keep an eye out on which are the money makers and which are the duds.

During the first nine levels you’re supposedly gathering the raw materials, but when you become a Daeva at level 10 you instead are now extracting vitality, which suggests that you’re instead gathering the essence of the material. Regardless, there is no difference as the fruit and ore look exactly the same in your inventory when you gathered them as a mortal and when you gather them as a Daeva. However, as a Daeva you’re also able to gather one important material — aether. Aether is required for most crafting professions and has other uses. The tricky thing with aether gathering is that not only are they available in certain areas (e.g. Altgard Fortress in Asmodae), but Aether is located in the air, usually at high altitudes. Since you only have a short amount of flight time — especially as a newly minted Daeva — it can be particularly challenging and frustrating to gather this much needed product.

Fighting as an Assassin

When fighting as an Assassin, the key word is "Damage Dealer." Whether you are fighting alone or in a group, Damage Dealer is still your role. During solo combat, you need to hit hard and fast and at the same time keep the enemy stunned. If your rapid combo fails, start retreating.

Assassin in a Group

Group fighting while similar to soloing, the difference is that you got your team mates to back you up. So less running away and less being cautious with your health. Again, your main key word to your fighting strategy is "Damage Dealer." Backing up your group with a good set of combination skills to increase your group's chances of winning.

The assassin's secondary function is to act as a scout and the coward. With its ability to hide and stay stealth, infiltrating enemy territories is not impossible anymore or casually scouting new path ways. Coward is self-explanatory, just run for it when danger creeps up on you.

Assassin Class Features

ArmorAion Assassin

When it comes to armors, Assassin wears leather, period. You can wear cloth armors but you should never ever wear them because it is useless for an Assassin. Since Assassins are an evasive class, they rely on their evasion, and so leather armors are the only armor that have the most bonus points on evasion. Sometimes an Assassin with high evasion build can become the tank for the group; since their evasion is so high that only a few attacks would actually land on them. However, if there is a tank in the group, let them do their job and you focus on doing damage.

Weapons

The Assassin has the ability to use 3 different types of weapons: Daggers, Swords, and Bows. However it is really more like two different types of weapons, because you're not really going to use a Bow as your primary weapon for PVP or PVE.

For people who have more experience with MMORPGs gameplay, you are probably thinking that "Assassin uses daggers as primary, and swords as maybe an offhand weapon" and that is exactly what I thought when I played Assassin in Aion the first time. In every other MMORPG I have played which has a class like Rogue, Assassin, or Thief, their primary weapons of choice are daggers, and then they might use a sword offhand for damage.

Spiritmaster Skills

The Spiritmaster is an advance Aion class that branches from the Mage basic class. Spiritmasters are the master of pets and slowing spells. They are viewed as damage dealers.

There are two types of skills – active and passive. Active skills refer to ones that you have to actively click to use. Passive skills are ongoing and mainly refer to certain characteristics, such as the ability to wear a certain type of armor or use a specific type of weapon. The passive skills you get upon creation are the ability to wear standard clothing, wear standard cloth armor, and basic spellbook training.

The Level 1 active skills are Flame Bolt, which inflicts magical fire damage on a target. It has a two second induction and a one second cooldown. Restraint is a crowd control (CC) skill, which immobilizes your target for 20 seconds. (Break on damage?) Although it can be casted on the run, it has a one minute cooldown, so learn the best opportunities to use it. Bandage Heal allows you to recover most of your health if you get injured from battle.

You also get the Return skill, which allows you to return to a specific town. The skill has a six second induction and is on a 20 minute cooldown. First you have to bind yourself to an obelisk, found in many towns and outposts. There is a fee charged every time you bind yourself to a new obelisk.

Aion Cleric

The class system works a little differently in Aion than in many other online roleplaying games. A player can choose between four different class archetypes, which are the Mage, the Warrior, the Priest, and the Scout. Each one of these archetypes divides into two subclasses at level 10. The Cleric is a subclass of the Priest archetype (the other choice being The Chanter), so for the first ten levels of the game you'll be playing a Priest and not the Cleric in specific. This archetype will give you an idea of the various skills and abilities that will later be available to the more advanced subclasses, in theory to help you choose which play style you are more interested in. This section will guide you through the first ten levels as the common Priest, to help you reach Ascension faster and become a Cleric quickly.

Elyos Priests will spend these levels in the starting area of Poeta, while Asmodians will be in Ishalgen. Characters will generally be able to purchase books to learn new skills at every new odd level, as well as at Level 10 once they have ascended and chosen a subprofession. In general, the quests in Poeta and Ishalgen mirror each other, being similar in what needs to be done to complete them.

The lore is a little different for each race, and there are some different quests as well. The quests in these areas flow very well, and are generally quite easy to follow. After a couple of quests at each "hub", characters will recieve a quest to head on to another area, and on the way to the next questing spot there are often a couple new quests to complete. If you just collect all the quests at an area that you can and then complete the chains, it's very simple to make it through all the areas quickly without criss-crossing the starting area too much. Poeta and Ishalgen also don't have specifically labeled group quests (although having another character around doesn't hurt) so it is also easy to solo quest through the entire area.

Aion Best Weapon?

As the saying is that strong one inch by one inch long, risk of an inch by one inch shorter. If you want to practice your skill to the degree that point east and strike west, point south and strike north, just like entering into the uninhabited place. It’s no doubt that it’s the most important thing to choose a proper weapon for you. In AION, there’re obvious advantages and disadvantages for close fighting weapon. Here we will introduce four kinds of assemble of weapons, just for reference. They are two short swords, two long swords, short right and long left swords and big sword.

Short sword: the fastest speed, attack frequency is 1.2, though the attack power is the lowest, the knock rating is the highest. Generally speaking, according to the different skill of the short swords, after knocking, it will be 2or 3times compared with the common hurt. Suppose that the injury of the skill of a close distance is 50points injury. After knocking, the injury can reach to 150points at most. The number is very terror. Because it’s unending that the close fighting profession purses the knocking rate. For the operation superiors of Assassin and Sword Star, it’s a perfect weapon that carrying two short swords. Because of the very fast speed of attack, it’s more suitable for the profession of Assassin which needs to release skills continuously.

Long sword: the speed is slower than short sword, attack frequency is 1.4, the attack power is higher than short sword, compared with common injury, the knocking injury of long sword is 1.7-2times. It suits the professions of defending star and Sword Star. When you’re practicing levels, sticking in all with long sword which adds crystal of knocking rate, the speed that defending star kills enemy will not be slow. Just because of this, the defending star of 18levels can knock out the injury of 1500+. Besides this, it’s also a good choice for Sword Star to carry long swords by two hands, especially in the last period carrying 2weapons with adding speed of attack, it must make up for the disadvantages of attack frequency, the efficiency will be improved by double. In AION, there are also some Assassins carrying 2long swords, because if the 2long swords are all with speeding up the properties of addition, the attack speed can match with skill to release speed. If Assassin carries short sword, suppose that one skill can hurt 1000, the knocking injury will be 3000. But if it uses long sword, maybe it will be 1400 and 2800. The crucial point lies in the choice of the players.

Long sword +short sword: here we should explain it specially, in AION, if you match long sword with short sword, you must pay more attention to what’s the weapon of your right hand equipment, remember this! I feel that the kind of the assemble style suits to Assassin more. Because you put off long and short together, the attack speed can catch up with the continuous skill of Assassin, but the execution will be higher than double short. In number aspect, Assassin carries short sword, suppose a skill hurt 50points. If knocked, maybe it will be 150. But maybe the skill injury of the long sword in another hand is 70points, if knocked, maybe it will be 150points.

Great sword: namely two-hand sword, very cool style. The attack speed is low, 2.4, but the execution is very high, knock rating is very low! The injury of knocking is only 1.3-1.5times compared with the common injury. In fact, using two-hand sword is to purse the stability, but it’s no doubt that the hit rate is much higher than the halberd in the same level. It suits to deal with the PVP of the desperadoes, just like Assassin, but it doesn’t have too many advantages in dealing with two single swords. From the point of the profession, defending star can carry great sword and there is special skill support for it. But the practice indicate that at present the efficiency of practicing level of carrying great sword and practicability of PVP are lower than two single swords.

PS: When we talk about how many times is knocking injury to common injury, the official hasn’t given us a specific post so far. It’s totally to get it by fighting with the same monster for hundreds of times. But no matter common injury or knocking injury, relocation is large. If we choose the smallest common attack and knock attack to compare with the largest common attack and knock attack, maybe there will be a large difference. The above data is just for researching and reference. The Chanter can be explained in two words: commandment and conviction. Chanters rigorously train the body and mind to become skillful in healing, attacking, and enhancement magic. In addition to Chanters magical abilities, he also possesses exceptional skills involving the use of the staff. The chanter uses mantra magic to inspire the morale of allies, and since it can strengthen abilities, it is the gathering center during battle.

Chanter roles and abilities
The Chanter is similar in personality to the Cleric, but possesses more variety when it comes to physical attack skills. However, it has less mana compared to the Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, or Cleric, all of which use large amounts of mana. This means the Chanter must be careful to make efficient use of its skills even though it tends to use less mana when using them.

Chanters also possesses a variety of buffing, recovery and curing skills, which makes this class very versatile. In particular, the area of buffs, called Mantras, are the Chanter's trademark skills. This allows a Chanter to not only buff its own abilities, but to also enhance nearby allies as well.

This versatility allows the Chanter to support a party by healing, engaging an enemy to deal damage, or be a back-up tank when equipped with a shield. Its role during combat will be defined by the situations a party finds itself in.

Having the highest efficiency among all the classes for recovery and buffing magic means that in addition to grouping with others, the Chanter can effectively play alone when allies are not around.

So you want to play a Chanter...
The Chanter is one of the best soloing classes. Mostly due to their buffs, they deal a great deal of damage and have the ability to heal themselves. Not only this, they are able to use Chain armor, which is just below Plate. Their issue, however, comes when their heals are constantly canceled by mobs or other players.

Here are several good things about being a Chanter:

- Great buffs (Run speed, defense, attack power, etc.)
- Decent heals (Not as strong as Clerics but still helpful)
- Chain armor mastery
- Many attack skills, although mostly melee

Unfortunately, there are negative aspects to playing a Chanter as well:

- Heals can be canceled
- Although they are able to heal, low defense puts them in a delicate situation

While playing Chanters will rarely use their smiting abilities. Their melee attacks are much more efficient than spells, being that they will not fail. Furthermore, melee abilities are used much quicker, dealing more damage in a shorter period of time.

The biggest difference between group play and solo will come when there is not another healer present. The Chanter can play the role of both buffer and healer, even without a Cleric nearby. The issue comes when there is a lot of damage being taken by players in the group because Chanters' heals are not too strong as those of Clerics.

Chanters weapon of choice is his staff, doing both normal melee hits and melee skills. During this period, there are skills that will decrease enemy attack speed, stun enemies and similar, which help regardless if they are playing alone or with others.

Playing a Chanter is not easy
If you decided to play a Chanter, you must embrace the fact you're a hybrid healer as well as a DPS class. With your buffs you will be helping the entire group tremendously by enhancing their abilities. At the same time, you're also required to heal everyone.

That being said, Chanters are one of the most exciting and rewarding classes in Aion, but also have a high learning curve. To learn all the ins and outs of being a chanter you'll spend months and months playing, and after that you'll spend your time looking at spreadsheets and item databases looking for gear and knowledge so you can get the most out of this class.

The MMO players are not forgiving, and Aion community is not much different. If you're skilled at your class you will be often invited into groups, raids and people will soon remember and welcome you. However, if you fail at your role, it will just as easily be remembered and I doubt you want to play alone the entire game.

Gladiators in Aion are Daevas who follow the Star of the Sword. They expertly wield most melee weapons and are especially proficient using polearms. Their ultimate goal is to obtain a variety of battle skills according to each weapon's properties. However, rather than flamboyant techniques or tricks, they prefer to attack the enemy with power and accuracy. Therefore, Gladiators reveal their true value in close combat. They also perform crucial roles in most legions.

While training, Elysean Gladiators tend to follow the teachings of the Empyrean Lord Nezekan, who watches over the just war, while Asmodian Gladiators serve the Empyrean Lord Zikel, who presides over destruction and slaughter.

The Gladiator is the only damage dealing class in Aion that has the ability to use Plate armor. This is a very important aspect of them, because they are not only able to dish out insane amounts of damage but they are also able to take a lot of hits.
Roles of the Gladiator
The Gladiator can be considered as a sort of hybrid tank. They do have many skills that increase their aggression on mobs, as well as have a nice amount of defense, but their defense is not as great as the Templars. On the same token, their attack power is much greater than the Templar's.

The pros of being a Gladiator are :

- Only damage dealer with the ability to use Plate armor
- Ability to use almost every possible weapon
- Ability to be a tank when necessary

The negatives to being a Gladiator are :

- Lower damage than most other damage dealing classes

There really are not many negatives to being a Gladiator, mostly only positive things. The only real issue Gladiators face is the lower damage compared to classes such as the Ranger, Assassin, Sorcerer, or the Spiritmaster. But at the same time, they are able to tank, giving them a very unique stance when it comes to grouping.

In terms of the weapons Gladiators are able to choose from, they can use Bows, Blunts, Swords, Duals, Daggers, or Greatswords. This gives them a huge amount of leverage when it comes to searching for items, although generally they will use either dual swords or Greatswords.

In solo combat the Gladiator just acts like the other damage dealing classes; they just attack mobs in the hopes of killing them before they are killed. The real change comes when they join a group with other players.

In a group environment, the Gladiator has to first figure out what their goal is; whether they are going to be tanking the mob(s) or just assisting with killing them. This will influence their skill usage because some skills build aggression and others do not. Being able to distinguish between the two types is a very important goal of all Gladiators.

Aion Double XP Weekends

NCsoft is still trying it's best to manage it's MMO Aion, which has done pretty well for an MMO these days. In response of players feedback that the experience curve can be steep in certain levels of Aion, NCsoft plans double experience weekends that over the next three weekends, players from levels 1-35 can get the reward of double experience gain. This includes crafting and gathering experience as well. And they also adding a few permanent benefits with the upcoming patch. Soul Healing will be less expensive for characters of all levels.

Many folks aren't up for the grind that comes with Aion and it looks like NCsoft is trying to appeal to them a bit more as they announced today that they will be offering double experience for the next three weekends and also lowering the cost of the soul healer.

Aion Scout Class Guide

The Scout class in Aion is of the Thief archetype, typically dual-wielding daggers and able to stealth through the shadows and attack their enemies when least expected.

Gear and Stats
The Scout is most effective in leather gear, although she can equip cloth items. While the leather does allow for a more agile and fluid play style, it does little to deflect incoming damage. The goal of the Scout is to appear, do as much damage as possible in a short time, and evade incoming attacks in the process.

The manastones you will want to hang on to include Physical Crit and Attack for maximum damage, while Evasion will help to avoid taking hits. Accuracy can also give you a boost, in that your attacks will hit more often. A mob's untimely resist can spell catastrophe, so doing what you can to make sure your abilities aren't wasted is crucial.

Rotation, Levels 1-4
Upon creation, your Scout will have two abilities at her disposal: Swift Edge, offensive, and Evasion, which is defensive. In later levels, Evasion will act as a trigger for a chain skill counterattack. For now, Open with your Swift Edge attack, and use Evasion as often as the cool down expires.

Surprise Attack, gained at level 3, does considerably more damage when used while behind your target. Make sure to use positioning to your advantage, and open with this attack at your enemies' backs. Follow with Swift Edge and then Evasion.

Rotation, Levels 5-6
Level 5 brings a much needed boost to your Accuracy, the Hide ability, and that chain attack from Evasion mentioned earlier: Counterattack. The best thing about this strike is that it sometimes delivers a stun to your target, giving you the opportunity to jump behind your enemy and apply heavy-hitting Surprise Attack.

Now that more of the mobs you encounter are hostile to you, you can use Hide to navigate to their backs and prepare your attack. The Hide ability also gives you an opportunity to scout new areas before you commit yourself to a battle.

One of the most important skills for your entire career also appears at level 5 - dual-wield! You should never be caught without two melee weapons equipped. As of game version 1.5.9, the consensus is that a main hand dagger and off hand sword will provide the most dps.

Rotation, Levels 7-9
The only new skill at level 7 is Soul Slash, which chains off of your Swift Edge attack. Make sure to activate it every time it procs in order to keep your target's health falling.

Level 9 brings you a much-needed passive boost to your evasion rate, as well as one new offensive ability: Devotion. This skill, when triggered, boosts your physical attack by 40%. It only lasts for 5 seconds, however, so you should take some time trying this out both at the beginning and at the end of the battle to see when it's of most use to you.

Choose Your Path: Assassin or Ranger
Once you have reached level 9 and then completed your quest for Ascension, you will have the choice between two specializations: the Assassin or the Ranger. While the Assassin may put out a bit more damage, the Ranger has abilities to keep himself at a distance from his target. Both classes will require some regular kinah to be spent, on potions, trap ingredients, arrows, and power shards. Both classes are much sought after for groups, and equally capable in PvP. The choice, then, really just comes down to the individual style and preference. Either way, you will find yourself laying waste to your enemies and contributing largely to your group's success.

Lacking the sheer power of the Mage, the defensive attributes of the Warrior, and the healing abilities of the Priest, this class may be one of the most difficult for new players. An effective Scout will need to time attacks and cool downs, making good use of position and the element of surprise. The Scout, and both of her specializations, are arguably the most gear-dependent classes in the game. Stacking the appropriate stats and keeping your weapons up to date are the most important considerations you have. You can supplement your play by taking Handicrafting, Sewing, or Weaponcrafting as professions.
