Aion Classes:The Scout

The Scout throws aside brute strength for agility, awareness, and speed. Cloaked in light armor, the Scout isn't able to take much of a beating, but the Scout doesn't need to if you play them correctly. A bit more complex than the Warrior class, the Scout uses assassination techniques, bows, swords and daggers to take out a target with ease. If you're looking for a class that is speedy, stealthy, and dangerous, then the Scout is probably for you.

Once a Scout hits level 10, it can either specialize as a Ranger or an Assassin.

Assassin

Assassins are perhaps the weakest of the Scout classes, trading durability for stealth and damage. As a result, the Assassin is deadly with a blade, and can quickly pick away at an enemy army with his or her dagger/sword. While the Assassin is nearly invisible to most classes, getting spot can be a problem, especially when putting a blade to someones back. For that reason, Assassins are also trained to use a bow if necessary, giving them another tool for a quick and silent kill.

Ranger

Rangers are the best of the best when it comes to scouting. Due to their agility and cunning, they find that regular military units simply hold them back and prefer to work alone or with other Scouts. Using their survival abilities, Rangers travel across even the most dangerous of terrain looking for new targets. While the Ranger is capable of using daggers and traps to cripple their foes up close, their greatest strength comes from their expert archery skill. Rangers know that they can't handle engaging a brutish enemy Warrior in close quarters combat, so they prefer to take their target out from a comfortable distance, slipping into the distance before they're even spoted.
