Aion Armory Cheats Guide

Aion Armory Code Guide

We have the Aion Armory code installed which enables you to post Skills, Weapons, Items and all that stuff.

To post a spell you use the following:

Code:

[spell]spellname[/spell]

An example:
Code:

[spell]sleep I[/spell]

Produces:
Sleep I

You can display this in 3 sizes.
Code:

[spell=full-small]sleep I[/spell]
[spell]sleep I[/spell]
[spell=full-large]sleep I[/spell]

Produces:
Sleep I

Sleep I

Sleep I

How to link text to a skill or item.

What if I wanted only show text.

Noble Durable Steel Hauberk For example.

You can display text only by using:
Code:

[spell=text]Sleep I[/spell]

If I want to have something like this: My hauberk

I simply link my text to the COMPLETE aion armory code. In this case it would be: http://www.aionarmory.com/item.aspx?id=110500434

The same goes for for items [Items] , NPC's [npc], and quests [quest]

To post crafting recipes you can use:
Quote:
[recipe]Cook: Banana Cocktail[/recipe]
Result:
Cook: Ormea Cocktail

Same goes for weapon designs:
Quote:
[recipe]Craft: Expert's Strengthened Orichalcum Greatsword[/recipe]
Result:
Craft: Expert Durable Orichalcum Greatsword

Mind you that you have to add the full name of the design. So in case of the examples, don't forget: "Cook: " and "Craft: "

ID's

Some items or skills share the same name but aren't the same. In that case you may want to use the ID of the skill or item.
An example. The armory has different listings for asmodian and elyos armor.

Noble Durable Steel Hauberk

Currently this item shows as Elyos and not Asmodian. If I would like the asmodian version i would link to the ID of the item.

So how does this work?
The link to the item I would like to display is the following:
http://www.aionarmory.com/item.aspx?id=110500434
Notice the "id=" at the end of the url. Copy this code and paste it in between the tags.
Code:

[item]110500434[/item]

Result:
Noble Durable Steel Hauberk

Please use ID's as much as possible
I would advice everyone to use ID's as much as possible since this has the smallest margin of error.

Integration within the editor
Bunny has been so nice as to make our lives easier and has integrated the tags within our text editor so that we can just click the icon to place tags around some tags. The following icons are used:

-[spell] tags
-[item] tags
-[quest] tags
-[npc] tags
-[recipe] tags

To use these just type the skill you want. For example Smite I.
Select the text and then click this icon .
The editor will then place the selected text between the tags like this:

[spell]Smite I[/spell]

How does the bot work:
While running to the next WP the bot is Tabbing to seek for a valid
target... once found:

it gets in distance > Buffs up > Precast > Battle Sequence loop until the mob is dead (emergency checks) ...
it will autom. loot > agro check > Postcast HP > Postcast MP > REGenerateHP/MP? > moves to next WP

FAQ:

- The bot ONLY READS from memory (writes in fly mode ! )

- The bot only works with Aion Client in Focus (no background mode )

- Make sure to ENABLE auto approach target in Option

- Use standard Keyboard setup in Aion (movement keys and mousewheel click)

- At first Start input a Botname on Misc layer , Keysetname on Basic layer

- Make sure you are near 30m of a Waypoint for "Runbot" and near a Ghostpoint for "Go to camp"

- Most of the input files have tooltips if you hover over with the mouse! (input sec, min etc?)

- Use WP/GP recorder or set points manual with Keypad + and - key (set points every 5-10m)$

- For Instant cast time input like 600-1000ms

- The bot only fights mobs above lvl3

- After manual edit of the battle sequence (ini file) don’t forget to save it and refresh the list in bot

- Fighting on spot fixed (you can even Setup GPs to a Camp with 0 Wps

- If you play on a Private Server you need to load the right offsets for that version

- Bot will attack targets within your Max distance set +20m (36m is max distance you can target a mob with tab )

- Set your max range to your pulling distance ( voke like 13m , mage abilities up to 23m )

- Combo input box -> set how many times you want to spam the same button

- check tooltips if you need to input values in min. , sec. or millisecond.

- Casttime = Time THE BOT should wait until he moves to the next attack in line

- Cooldown = Time that needs to pass until the bot will do this attack again

- As you see timer have not much to do with the in game timers ( Bot-timer >= in game timer )

Samples for Setup with a mage (sorc.):

CT = Time to wait until next Attack
CD = How often do you want the bot to cast it (for me 35sec = once per fight / depends on mob lvl etc)

Precast: Ice Chain combo to Frozen Shock
Ice Chain Casttime 2sec , Cooldown 10sec
Frozen Shock CT 0 sec , CD 30sec

Now if you count the sec how long it takes after finishing casting
and the Combo item starts blinking in your attack bar.. thats about
1 sec for this combo..

Now put this together...

-> CT: 2200 ( 2000ms would be enough but see below **)
-> CD: 10 ( 10sec for CD of first spell .. use 30 for only full chain)
-> Combo: 2 (After casting it needs 1sec for combo to be read)
( 2 x 1/4 Casttime of 2200 are about that 1 sec... so input 2 ... )
(** I took 2200 instead of 2000 for smoother combos)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attack1: Stoneskin CT: Instant CD: 2min
Buff Last: 5min or 600damage (600 dmg is first so spam every 2min)

-> CT: 800 (Instant = 800 casttime ... always !! )
-> CD: 121 ( 121 sec = ca. 2 min ... )
-> Comb: x (No Combo used ... X it out )
-> Max: (Ticked Max cause I want to use stoneskin far away..)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attack2: Delayed Blast CT: 2sec CD: 30sec

-> CT: 2000
-> CD: 40 ( 40 cause I don’t kill the mob within 30sec.. but nvm)
-> Max: (ticked cause it’s a ranged spell)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attack3: Robe of Flame CT: 0sec CD: 10sec Last: 30min

-> CT: 800 (cause its instant...)
-> CD: 1800 ( input 30min in sec as buff duration)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attack4: Flame Harpoon CT: 2sec CD: 6sec

-> CT: 2000
-> CD: 6

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attack5: Flame Bolt CT: 2sec CD: 1sec Combo !!

-> CT: 2200 ( a bit more to tune smoother combo)
-> CD: 6 (if you take the real 1 sec it will only spam Atck5..
take 6 like lowest in serie)
-> Combo: 4 (Equals a double combo... higher value longer combo)

Free Aion bot

It’s known that Aion is actively searching for bot users, and that if the bot you are using, happens to be on a process list, then using that process will get you banned. However, this bot changes the process name, and as long as you bot safely (don’t show off, don’t tell your friends), then your account should be fine.

One of the nice things about the bot – besides being free, is that it is constantly updated. Each and every patch, each and every bug, it’s patched. In any case, while the bot is free to use, only our members can see the actual download location and support forums.

Aion Bots in the community but which Aion Bot is best for you? I decided to make this post and give my personal opinion on which Aion Bot I find best and why.
The bot I have chosen to write about is the Aion Ktz Bot. The reason I have chosen this particular bot are for the reasons as follows:

1. Easy interface. Minimal confusion and most of all nice and easy to setup!
2. Works in background mode - Meaning I can carry on with my day to day things without any interference.
3. Excellent way point system
4. Quest and Party system. Excellent for high lvl toons.
5. Targets like no other bot on the market.

And best of all my favourite reason the fact that this is bot is free. So snatch it up while you can!

But How does it work?

Simple! just follow these steps:

1. You launch the bot
2. hit the button Load, then it says sucessfully
3. Launch the game, it supposely launch the aion but sometimes it
doesnt work, you have to do it using the launch manager from ncsoft
manually.
4. You hit home inside game and it will open the oog bot gui interface, it will ask you for some login credentials:

User: ktztest
Pw:888888

You set up the fight, skills and monsters tab section in order for
this to work properly. In the Fight tab you set up the waypoint
locations, it will create a path.
5. You hit the traininig button located at the bottom, then it will start hunting.
6. HAPPY BOTTING!

Aion Cheats Health Faster Trick

This trick allows you to regen your health EXTREMELY quickly in low levels using nothing but a simple command.

The way Aion's regeneration system works, while standing you regain a certain ammount of HP over time. By RESTING (/rest , it can even be mapped to a button.) the game activates an quicker regeneration rate, after one second, your HP will regain quickly, then another big chuck after another 10-20 seconds.

To use this exploit, /REST till you see a big jump in your health points, stand up, rest again till you see your HP jump up quickly, RINSE AND REPEAT TILL YOU HAVE REACHED FULL HP IN LESS THAT 5-6 SECONDS!

Aion Enchantments, Manastones, & Goldstones guide

Aion Enchantments, Manastones, & Goldstones guide
Enhancing items allows you to customize your armor and weapons in order to fulfill your role within the world of Atreia. There are several ways you can enhance weapons and armor. The first is through Socketing Manastones; second with Enchantment Stones, and third with Godstones. Each type of enhancement affects the item it is placed on differently. Manastones add a particular attribute to an item, such as Hit Points, Crit chance, and more. Enchantment Stones increase specific attributes of an item depending on what type of item it is. Godstones add abilities to weapons that have a chance to affect the target with each attack.

Enchantment Stones
Enchantment stones, unlike manastones, improve specific attributes on weapons and armor based on the type of item they are applied to. These add a plus to the item they are applied to and can be used several times over to continuously improve the item they affect.

To find enchantment stones, one must use a set of Extraction Tools on an item. This will destroy the item but will give you 1 or more enhancment stones. The level of these stones will be based on the level of the item they are extracted from. The higher the level of stone used in comparison to the item they are used on, less likely the enchant will fail.

However, if an item is already enchanted and an attempt is made to enchant it further and the attempt fails, the item will lose one level of enchantment.

Manastones
Socketing armor and weapons gives you a wide variety of attributes that will affect your character. These effects can be anything from extra health or mana, to how often you critically hit or how accurate you are. These items can be found on most creatures throughout Atreia and, in some cases, can be traded in for other manastones by a repeatable quest.

In order to add a manastone to an item the item must have an empty manastone slot available. Once a slot is available simply right click the mana stone and mouse over the item you wish to enhance, then left click the item. An animation will begin along with a
timer. If you are successful, the manastone and its buff will now be listed in that item’s attributes.

Note: If the socketing fails, the manastone used will be lost. Also, if the item had any manastones previously placed on it those will be lost as well. A confirmation will appear to make sure you wish to attempt adding the additional manastones.

In the event you wish to replace a socketed manastone on an item with a new or different one, there are vendors in towns that, for a price, will remove a stone. This will allow you to attempt to socket the new manastone. Just remember, once a manastoneis removed from an item, it will be lost.

The following list shows all Manastones and their possible values:

Godstones
Godstones are the last type of enhancement that can be added to an item. However, these can only be socketed to weapons. Once applied to a weapon, the Godstone gives it the ability to affect an enemy in a variety of ways depending on the Godstone used.

In order to add a Godstone to a weapon, one must visit the Godstone vendor in Sanctum or
Pandeamonium. Once there drag and drop the weapon you wish to enhance into the Godstone Socket Target slot. Then drag the Godstone you wish to apply into the Godstone Socket Info slot. You will then see the description of the effect that will be placed on the weapon as well as the cost to apply the Godstone. If you are sure you wish to enhance the weapon with the chosen Godstone hit the "Okay" button.

Once "Okay" is clicked a confirmation will appear to be sure you wish to do this. It also informs you that any previous Godstone applied to the weapon will be lost.

After a Godstone has been applied to a weapon there will be a particle effect added to it. The type of effect applied is based on the Godstone and the attribute it has added to the weapon.

Aion Cleric Macros

I found some useful Macros for Cleric

1. Healing and Buffing

a) Buffing multiple groups with blessings:
Code:

/Variable 1 Blessing of Health "Rank"
/Select [%Group1]
/Skill [%Variable1]
/Delay 2
/Select [%Group2]
/Skill [%Variable1]
/Delay 2
/Select [%Group3]
/Skill [%Variable1]

Repeat this pattern, replacing the group number, for more groups.

Create multiple versions of this macro for your different Blessings by replacing the "Number" of the Variable.

b) Healing an enemy's target and re-select the enemy:
Code:

/Select [%Target'sTarget]
/Skill "Heal Name" "Rank"
/Delay 2
/Select [%PreviousTarget]

This macro is very useful if you have 2 off-tanks or find yourself in a group with people who pull aggro off the tank/s frequently.

Furthermore, you can still heal yourself along with the tank if you happen to take damage.

c) Healing a group member and then re-targetting your previous target:
Code:

/Select [%Group"Number"]
/Skill "Name"
/Delay 2
/Select [%PreviousTarget]

Alternatively, you can also /Select "Player Name"

This is probably one of the better cleric macros out there.

2. Levelling

a) Faster resting/Mana regen
Code:

/Skill Light of Rejuvenation "Rank"
/Delay 2
/Skill Mana Treatment "Rank"
/Delay 2
/Skill Refresh Mind "Rank"
/Delay 2
/Skill Toggle Rest

I use this quite a lot for levelling when my mana gets low. Of course you can take out Mana Treatment if you don't have powder.

3. Combat

a) Simple assist target and announce target:
Code:

/Select [%Group"Number"]
/Yell DPS [%Target'sTarget] selected by [%Group"number]!
/Select [%Target'sTarget]
/Delay 2
/Attack

Alternatively, you can replace [%Group"Number"] with the name of your group's main assist.

b) Cast Holy Servant and cast HoT on it:
Code:

/Skill Summon: Holy Servant "Rank"
/Delay 2
/Select Divine Energy
/Skill Light of Rejuvenation "Rank"
/Delay 2
/Select [%PreviousTarget]

HoT'ing up your summon makes it stay around for one extra attack (4 instead of 3 hits), which is quite good, especially if simplified by a macro.

As stated above, currently I have not found a way to target a previous hostile target, but you can just hit TAB to do this quite easily.

Hidden Treasure in Aion Online

In the middle of the lake by Basela Village in Altgard, there is a large box. You will usually find a few people attacking it, just ask to group and pound away.

It takes awhile to destroy as it has an estimated 10,000 hp and you only deal 1 damage at a time.

After an hour or two of annoying beating the box dies, and you will recieve the Treasure Hunters Sword, Dagger, Sheild, Spellbook, Belt, and Boots.

Ok so most everyone knows this, but here is a trick if you are having trouble getting into a group. Simple, go at about 9am or so with at least one friend to be sure that you will not get beat out by someone who shows up later.

If there is someone there, just channel hop as it is usually on more than one channel at a time. And another trick, if you use Frightcorn Memory or something similar you may do twice as much damage. And yet another trick, unless your an assasin, drop down to your fists as they have a 1 attack rate I believe so you can get more hits in as you do the same damage either way.

Nochsana Training Camp Guide

Nochsana Training Camp Guide
25 levels of harpies later, some real opponents!

On the way to the abyss, a lot of people say "Where are the instances?!". Thankfully the western release of the game came with patch 1.5, introducing the Nochsana Training Camp. NTC, or just TC as it might be referred to on your server is a level 25-29 instance. These are hard caps. Since it's in the Abyss, 25 is required, and once you hit 29, you can no longer enter it period. Enjoy it while you can!

One important thing to realize is that this is not a WoW instance. Loot will not drop off every boss or special monster as a guarantee. It is entirely possible, and even probable, that you will walk out of here with nothing new for gear. Before you throw your hands up in the air and abandon your quest however, you must realize that the experience points are ABSURD from this instance. With a party of 25-26s, you will be getting over 25,000 per elite monster kill. If you pre-ordered or recently completed a survey for a Lodas' amulet, this is the time to use it. On a full clear of the zone, running at a reasonable rate so the majority of your kills are with the amulet on, you will likely roll out with 70-80% of a level's worth of experience. It's incredible and should be run every day you can do it. There is a lockout period of a little under a day after you complete it, and three quests that will be done on the way that are given from an NPC near the ones that gave you your abyss training.

Quests
Nochsana Weapon Caches - These are located

near the end of the instance surrounding the fortress, and lots reside inside. There are enough spawns that a full party should be able to complete it all at once.

Guardians of the General - These four enemies are all part of your path to the General for the most part. We'll make sure you don't miss them.

The Siege of Nochsana - Just move up to the door and deploy your weapon. A pet bar will show up and you'll have to tell it to attack. Make sure everyone deploys it and gets credit if you're doing it as a static team with your legion or something. The followup will then tell you to kill the General, which is what you came to do anyway, right?

Route
Fairly straight forward. Upon entering, your party should move up either side. Patrols circle in a clockwise circle on the outer ring. Mark them and make your party aware as soon as they enter your line of sight. Typically they consist of two elites or one elite and a pack of Recruits, which barely pose a threat at all. There are drakes in the middle that can be totally ignored or grabbed for bonus experience.

Pull slowly and steadily. Before you reach the first gate, you'll see an artifact structure directly to the right of the first fortress gate. The first boss type is here for the quest, and he's a caster. Watch for large spikes of damage on your tank, and you can use the artifact to your advantage if you must. It'll create a damage shield for 60 seconds on your whole party that can soak up a lot of punishment. You can use it and then get dirty with a double pull for a little more thrill and AoE carnage.

Past the second gate is more of the same, but atop that second gate lies the third boss. His physical output is laughable, but he has an amazingly powerful stone-skin type damage shield. Whittle him down over time before he can recast it. Right up the ramp to the third gate is the 3rd boss, a Drake. All of his damage is single target except for one wide blast that will hit the whole party for about 1000. Your cleric can take care of this easily with a Healing Wind, so don't panic and start using potions. Nothing else he does will hit people beyond the tank, so waste this fool. Reports are mixed about his fire attack being cone-based so you could dodge it if you were behind him. I wouldn't bother.

Once you get to the gate, resist the urge to run up and bash the hell out of it with your bare hands. Actually, do it once. Fisticuffs have a great animation in this that you'll never get a good chance to see otherwise. If you have a lot of people looking to complete the Weapons quest, as you pull the outside of the fortress, look for the caches lining the walls. Once everything is clear, activate your siege weapons around melee distance with the gate if you have them and let rip. Then perhaps most importantly, get back. Everyone needs to stand back as upon the door falling, at least two elites will rush out to engage you and they're likely to get company on the way. Make sure your cleric has Rebirth up, if there is any threatening point of this instance, it's this pull. Handle them as they come out with crowd control and engage them around the corner of the gate.

Now, you have to clear the entire fortress out. Anything left alive will come running when the General is engaged, so don't even think about going up that ramp. Once the ground floor is clear, work your way up the ramp on the right side. By now you'll notice the weapon caches are liberally spread throughout this portion of the fortress. In this area you'll also find Nochsana Docs, which are healer types and should be dealt with first or last if good crowd control is available. Clear the area above the gate, as well as the bridge over the middle of the room. At the highest point in the back corner you'll find the last of the bosses for the quest. He'll summon help, but the help will vanish upon his death. Unload everything before the add goes for your healer and things get ugly. Do a quick survey around the fortress to ensure it's fully cleared, and pull the last two in front of the general. It's go time, people

Nochsana General
As intimidating as he looks, he's not that bad. His melee attacks consist of a smash that lowers physical defense and can be dispelled, and a wide area knockdown. His damage is rather high, so clerics will have to be on their toes. Ranged classes have next to nothing to worry about. Once he gets below 30%, he'll start using a fear move that will cause a random person to lose control for a few seconds. Templars should have Empyrean Armor saved for this in case the healer gets feared and things get ugly. Where you tank him is pretty irrelevant. Once he's dead, you'll get credit for the second part of the siege quest. His loot table consists of a wide array of blue weapons, high quality stuff that will take you into the 30's easily.

Unfortunately, that's if he drops them.

You'll be running this multiple times, and you have a time limit of sorts due to the level cap. This is without a doubt the fastest thing you can do to level though, and groups will be continuously springing up for NTC due to that. It's a good primer for how a fortress siege works, well, aside from the whole 'no enemy players in the area'. The quests will give you a huge infusion of XP and a fantastic helm that will carry you through the mid 30's with ease. Just remember that you're not doing it for the loot. There are repeatable instances in the low-mid 30's that will provide you with much more loot opportunity than here. I personally got more loot out of Tavan's Cavern than here, but a third of the experience in the process. Regardless the Nochsana Training Camp is your easy ticket if you don't want to grind out 25-29. So set that looking for group tag and brave the spammers to ride the fast track to 30!

Aion Online Gladiator complete guide

Aion Online Gladiator complete guide

The Gladiator class is able to use most weapons in the game, but they are more geared towards using either two handed pole arms (for Area of Effect combat) or dual-wielded swords. Almost all of their skills are geared towards the use of either a pole or a sword (Dual swords do count for this), so it is highly recommended that you choose to use one of those two weapons.

Along with this, the Gladiator is able to use multiple types of armor. They have passives for Leather, Chain, and Plate. Because of this, your choice in armor will be Plate. Your goal is to build up your defense and attack as much as possible, and Plate is the best method to going about this.

The biggest thing to keep in mind when choosing to play this class is that your main priority is to be a damage dealer, rather than a tank. You will have the ability to take monsters and players, yes, but if there is a Templar as well it is best to allow them to take care of that.

Strategy
The strategy of the Gladiator is going to be a pretty solid one. There really are not any times you will deviate from your normal play style, however your play will depend on what type of weapon you are using at the time.

First of all, carrying a bow is a very positive thing. You do not have any skills that you are able to use with bows, however you can use them to pull mobs out of groups. Your damage with this bow clearly will not be as devastating as with your normal skills, but that is not your objective at this point. Instead, you will want to use your bow to pull and then swap back to your normal weapon of choice.

Because your masteries (and skills) are based on two different weapons we will go ahead and cover the scenarios of each of these. These two weapons are the pole arm and the dual-wielded swords.

The dual-wielded swords are used just like any other weapon. Your goal is to get up to melee range of your target and deal damage to them as fast as possible. This is going to be the same whether you are tanking or not, however when you are tanking you will be the first one to attack your enemy (or enemies). This play style is the most common among Gladiators because if you keep using skills you will deal a large amount of damage over a short period of time. The issue, however, is that your attacking ability (in terms of damage dealt) is highly dependent upon how many skills you are able to dish out to your opponent. Because of this, your large attack power has both strengths and weaknesses. It is very important to gauge, especially when playing alone, how much health you have and what you are able to kill. Not doing so will result in a quick return to the nearest respawn point!

The pole arm is one of the most tricky weapons in any game, and Aion is no different. The point of the pole arm is to deal damage to multiple enemies at once, using a melee weapon. Using this style of battle means you need to completely separate yourself from your normal, in which you just attack one mob at a time. This time, your goal is to run beside multiple mobs, pulling their aggression along with you as you run to an area (preferably a corner) where you can attack all of them at the same time. This style takes much practice to fully grasp the hang of it. Because of this, here is a small guide to assist you in understanding the various workings of the Area of Effect combat methods.

Step One – Your first step here is to figure out where you wish to do your slaying mobs at. This is by far the most important decision because you want the ones that either are good for your quest, have decent drops, or give good experience. Looking at those three things, you will quickly notice that they do not always coincide with one another. You could have mobs that you need for a quest but have horrible drops and experience, for example. As a general rule of thumb, it is best to find mobs that are one or two levels below you. This generally cuts down on the amount of damage that they deal to you, increases your damage to them, and thus causes you to experience much less down time. Along with this, when choosing your target area make sure you understand how the different mobs react to players. Aggressive mobs, for example, are much easier to pull along with you than passives. With passive mobs, you must manually hit them to get them to chase you, causing you to take a considerable amount of damage sometimes just while pulling! Both types are fine, just ensure you understand which one you are dealing with ahead of time.

Step Two – The second step once you have chosen your target area is to determine whether or not you need a healer. There are some times you will find that you are able to do decent pulls (I consider three mobs a decent pull when solo) without anyone else assisting you, but there are also times that those three mobs may slay your character. Determining whether or not you are going to need a healer is extremely important because it can save you much time in the long run. Do notice that adding someone else to your group does mean you will receive less experience, gold, etc. however.

Step Three – After you have done the above two steps you are ready to move on to determining how many mobs will be an efficient pull for you. Whether you have a healer or not this part will always be the same. The biggest mistake people make is starting big and slowly working their way down. Instead, you should be doing the exact opposite. Start out with small pulls, such as two mobs (if solo) or three (if grouped) and move up one mob at a time until you feel comfortable but not overwhelmed. Some players may find this to be “weak” but it is much better than wasting hours trying to figure out what went wrong or how to get better efficiency. Also note that this bottom-to-top approach should be used with each run or each day. Many times you may be doing perfect during a run and then take a break and end up wiping your party (or yourself) multiple times due to not doing as well.

Step Four – At this point you are ready to roll and AoE down some mobs! You are ready to either try out your solo play or ensure that your team is being attentive so you can do a pull. Note that if you are unsure if a party member you rely on is AFK or not, you will want to question them ahead of time. Nothing is more irritating than a healer that left to go take care of something while you sit there dying.

Aion - Level 35 Assassin Farming Gold Weapons

This is a extremely quick 2 minute boss run and of course, the duration will depend on your skill execution and DPS.

This is also a realistic execution plan. If you look at the DPS of the 2 assassins in the video, they are achievable.

As for drop chance, you have a chance to get the gold drops but everything depends on your luck. I am not certain about the drop rate but with this speed, you can probably have your weapons pretty quick.

There is a 30 minute lock out after you finish an instance. Use this time to gather some aether nearby. Lots of aether in this place.

The other thing is: the gold weapons bind on roll. Just NPC anything you can’t use. NPC buy them for a million kinahs. That’s alot, isn’t it?

You need to be at least level 34 for this but recommend that you be at least 37 (42 max or the boss won’t drop anything)

Preparation:

Buy some Abyss HP Pots with AP and some large HP Pots

Buy some movement speed buff scrolls or +critical attack food if you want. Optional

Group up with 1 or 2 other assassins. Go with someone with pretty similar DPS to reverse aggro easily.

Meet up and enter Fire temple (asmos) or Kyola temple (elyos). You need the finish a quest to enter this instance.

In instance:

Turn on Bloodlust I (speed buff).

Turn on Hide II

Glide until you reach a mob-free spot

Wait for Hide II CD to finish.

Consume Mana pot to replenish Mana

Turn on Hide II

Proceed towards the boss’s hideout.

Kill 1 mob near boss.

Lure boss to spot using bow.

Assassin A aggro and splash DPS at Boss

Assassin A prepare to use Abyss Pot and HP Pot. This will allow you to tank a few hits.

Assassin B go to back of boss, stun, buff, backstab, surprise attack, dp skill.

Assassin B will reverse the aggro if done right.

Assassin B prepare to pot. (Kromedes gives crazy damage)

Now the aggro in on B after all that crazy damage.

Assassin A go to back of boss, buff backstab surprise attack, dp skill, repeat what player B did.

If there is a Assassin C, this will be faster but you have 1 more person to split the loot.

If you got a golden staff/orb/spellbook/mace/spear, sorry you can’t trade them.. They bind on roll! But good news is that you can NPC them for 1 million kinah. That’s quite a bit of money.

Now, there is a 30 minute lock down on re-entering the dungeon.

You can go gather some aether nearby. Lots of aether in this place.

Or you can set up store and sell some stuff outside the dungeon.

This process takes about 2 mins plus

Aion Cheats Solo Sulfur Fortress Instance

If you are a ranger, assassin, or templar you can solo the sulur fortress instance. There is a level requirement, it varies depending on your class. Ranger/Assassin likely need around 32+, and Templar needs 37+. After level 43 you will no longer get any loot.

1. Form a group for the simple purpose of being able to enter the instance.
2. Run past all the mobs directly to the middle, and die on the chest.
3. Wait until mobs reset, and res yourself with a self reviving res stone (broke, or 500 AP abyss consumable vendor).
4. Kill the box using your class's bugged skills.

The bugged skills are skills which have a random damage portion to them. For Ranger this is stunning shot. For Templar it is Divine Slash and Shining Slash. Assassin has one too, not sure which one it is. The higher your level / gear, the more damage you'll do, which is where the level restriction comes in. All other attacks do only 1 damage making it impossible to solo without the bugged skills.

Great spot for grinding 35-39 in Aion

To Power level you'll need a higher level friend, Cleric/Templar/Chanter work best.

Get them to train a bunch of mobs and get lots of hate and then you pick them off one by one. The only benefit is that there is no down time for resting HP and you can kill the mobs much faster because they're all right in front of you.

Thats not how it was last night, I was recieving 80-85% of regular. The method works.

Great spot for grinding 35-39
Not sure about Elyos but Asmodians have Wrathfull Obscuras, and Gloomy Specters I think there called they look like reapers.

They drop fast don't do lots of damage and give 25k a mob and since there aggro mobs bots don't usually bot there.

You can find them in Beluslan pretty much straight under the Right outpost.

Aion Cheats Best gathering Macros

Aion Cheats Best gathering Macros:

1. Click on the item to be gathered
2. As soon as it pops up in your inventory, hit any movement key, in any direction and instantly click on the next item to gather.

You shave off the 1-2 seconds waiting time before you have to try again. It becomes especially useful against people trying to ninja the next attempt from you. I am guessing this should work against the bots as well.
This works while flying and picking up Aether as well, every second up there counts, right?.

I wondered if its possible to have a macro for gathering, since it can become extremely boring.

Since the time it takes to gather is always random, its not possible to get a perfect macro to gather all 3 items with one click – at least it won’t be efficient to use a macro that way.

Best you can do is create a macro that breaks the animation after gathering and starts gathering the next item with minimum delay.

Well, this is the best i have come up with so far, and i thought it would be worth to share with you.

Create a new macro and put this in:

Code:
/attack
/select [%Variable9]
/delay 0.1
/attack

Of course, use whatever variable you like.
Save and drag the macro icon down on your quickbar.

As you can see, my macro will use a variable to specify the item to gather, so you will have to set it once you logon, or want to gather a different item. put this into your chat (it doesn’t matter which chat or tab):

/variable 9 ItemToGather

Again, use the variable you set in your macro. as item you need to specify the actual name shown if you hover the item node with your mouse, don’t use brackets or quotes. be aware that variables won’t save when you log out.

Now you’re set! go to your favorite gather spot and move close to your item of desire, and hit the macro key, your toon will run up to it and start gathering. take care that you won’t pull any aggro – if you get hit while gathering (note: each time you get dmg from DoTs, it will count as a hit), you will loose your current gather.

Once you hear the finish sound, instantly hit the macro key again and the macro will break the animation and get right back to gathering.

observations:

* This macro is not quite as fast as using your movement keys to interrupt, however i found it to be satisfying for my lazy needs.
* The item you want to gather has to be in range, i estimate the max. range to be around 25-30m
* After you finished gathering all 3 items, the macro would still try to gather from the (now gone) node, you will have to move closer to an existing node or wait about 1 second after the node is gone.
* The further afar an item is from you, the longer the macro will take to find it.
* If you hit the makro key while gathering, it won’t break your gather (at least it didn’t for me), so you could just keep smashing your key and it will gather everything in sight.

That said, if you don’t want to put up with setting your gather item every time you logon, you have two possible options:

1.) set the item to gather right in your macro instead of [%VariableX], don’t use brackets or quotes, and create different macros for different items if you need. these will save then.
2.) you can also put several /select commands one after another in your macro, the macro should then in theory pick the last item which is in range and gather that. however this didn’t work out too well for me – sometimes it just won’t find items in range. and it seems, the more /select commands you use, the longer the macro takes to complete, up to several seconds, which renders the macro useless in terms of efficiency. maybe you have better luck with that, please hook me up if you find a working solution.

someone has uploaded the character voice files from the Korean Aion client. It has all the voices like player character, NPC, and cut scenes! If you are playing the Chinese version you might notice all the voices are missing, that's probably because they're too cheap on the translation and only did the texts...

Aion Asmodian Leveling Guide 40+ Best Place Revealed!

Once you reach level 40 you'll notice the time it takes you to level is dramatically increased. Usually you will need to spend 18 hours or more of play time per level from here on out. It can become quite annoying and also frustrating to level up. I've re-modified the below section a bit to give you anywhere from 2 to 10 different locations you can hunt per level 40 - 50. If you get bored at one you can just switch to the other one.

Kurin, Rynoce and Tayga Level 40

Right outside of Red Mane Cavern you will find one of the best places to go from 40 to 41. If you enjoy Gathering while leveling, you'll find quite a few goodies here for you to gather like Orichalcum Ore, Asvata Wood, Anathe Fiber, Ruby Ore and also Vigen. Aside from those goodies, the mobs here are spread out just enough so you can easily kill them all 1 by 1. You'll rarely ever get an add.

Also this place is right near town so if Elyos arrive you can make a run for it or if you have to unload your goodies a vendor is nearby. This place is also great for any class it shouldn't give anyone much difficulty and if you're gathering in between kills then you'll have plenty of time to rest up/wait for Herb Treatment Cooldown.

Asmodian Leveling Guide Level 40 Golems

The Golems are a another good place for you to level from 40 to 41. There are about 20 Golems in the area and a few Frost Agrints. This area isn't densely populated with mobs to kill but they are spread out enough to where if you run into one another will not patrol into you. If you like to gather you can also find quite a few Pressa in the area.

This area isn't the best area for you to level up, but it is a good alternative if you get bored of other places. Other places that are nearby are the Ghosts which are a tad north and Anair Icelake which is northwest.

Asmodian Leveling Guide - Ghosts level 40

The Ghosts northeast of Anair Harbor are a pretty good place to grind at level 40. These ghosts are quite squishy and I'd recommend them to any class that doesn't have buffs. There is a Mage type of Ghost here that uses Dispell Blessing. This can get quite annoying as a Chanter since they take away all of my buffs.

I can see a Gladiator or Assassin type class eating this area alive. The ghosts here don't have much defense and low HP. You should be able to drop them pretty quickly without much downtime in between fights. Also if you have gathering at a decent level you will be able to gather the Moonstone here (280 skill) and Orichalcum (300 skill).

For the ghosts there is also a repeatable quest you are able to accept in Besfer Refugee Camp at level 40. This quest is called "[Coin] Ghosts of Anair Harbor". It requires you to kill 12 Spiritsoldiers, 8 Spiritmages and 11 Spiritarchers.

Fang Troll Encampment - 40

The Trolls are one of the best places for you to level from 40 to 41. The camp is pretty small and usually not trafficked too much. The small trolls here are very squishy, the bigger ones are a bit more tough but nothing you can't handle. The trolls also drop roughly 190-250 kinah each kill, which is a nice added bonus to their other loot.

Also if you've kept your gathering around your level you can gather Vigen here (335 skill), Ruby Ore (315 skill) and also Avasta Log (340 skill). Another upside is this place is right next to the Kurin, Tayga and Rynoce area. If you get bored you can always run across the road and grind here.

Asmodian Leveling Guide - Anair Icelake 40

Anair Icelake is just above Besfer Refugee Camp. This is one of the most common botting areas for players. This could possibly make this place hellish for you to level, so, depending on the population of your server and amount of bots will determine if this place is worth it. There are many more then 3 mobs here for you to kill, most of them also con "easy" to you, meaning they have 2 green dots.

The mobs here are a mixture of level 39 and 40. If you just started on my guide, then you'd like to know that the Ice Lake Crasaur's drop an Abandoned Ring that starts a quest. If you followed my leveling path up to now you'd of already done this quest. If you get bored of this area you can always head east to the Ghosts or Southeast to the Golems.

Mist Mane Village (Group Quests & Grind)

Mist Mane Village is a village filled with Elite Mau. You will need a group in order to level here, but it is pretty darn good XP and also there are quite a few quests for you to do here. You can get all of the quests from Silver Mane Village, it is just east of Mist Mane Village.

The quests for Mist Mane Village all require a group and quite a bit of grinding here. There is one quest you actually need to pick up inside, but it can be shared. That quest is Taisan's Request. Below are the quests you can do for Mist Mane Village.

Asmodian Leveling Guide (39) Mobs

The Daru and Crookhorn Gorgons are a great alternative for players that ar level 40. These mobs are "green dotted" mobs, this means they are much easier to kill then your regular mob. Also all of these mobs are Neutral, meaning they will not attack you unless you attack them first.

Two more good things about this area is it is very close to town so that you can easily unload your loot or if you die, you can easily get back here. Also, there are no Rifts that are nearby, or close enough to make it worth it for Elyos to come over here. Chances are when you're over here you will rarely be ganked.

Besfer Refugee Camp Quests - Level 40

When you hit level 40 there will be two quests for you in Besfer Refugee Camp. These two quests are "Crisis of Reyrinirerk" and "A Procession of the Dead". The first quest you will want to do is "Crisis of Reyrinirerk". Head north of Besfer Refugee Camp to Anair Icelake. Here you will want to kill Ice Ribbits, Ice Lake Spirits and Ice Lake Crasaurs for Ice Crystals.

Easiest creatures to grind for these are the Ice Lake Crasaurs and Ice Spirits. They can be found just north of Besfer Refugee Camp. Take a look at where I am on the map for the exact location. The Red is where the Ice Lake Spirits can be found and the Blue is where you can find the Crasaurs.

Asmodian Leveling Guide - Spriggs 40+

The Spriggs are a very unknown camping spot, what I mean is, not many people know about these guys. They are close to town and are pretty easy for you to kill. The only downside of this camp is that one of the Sprigg types will call for help when he gets low on health, as seen in the video. This can make this camp quite annoying but it is a nice alternative if everything else gets boring. Especially because you haven't killed Spriggs since Morheim!

Also if you're leveling Extraction, or at least keeping it your level you will find a ton of Anathe down in this valley. Anathe is the final stage of Fiber used in the Tailoring Profession, making this a pretty profitable area if you have Extract Vitality. Also the Spriggs in this area drop Kinah which is another plus.

Asmodian Leveling Guide - Mamut Graveyard
Mamut Graveyard is a good alternative spot for levels 41-42. Over here you will find Mammoth's as well as Spirit Mammoths, depending on what time of day it is. At night Spirit Mammoths will come out and during the day you will find living Mammoths, as seen above. This is a good spot for two reasons, 1 its not that crowded and 2 it changes from day to night making it less boring.

There is one downside to this place and that is the elite that roames around at night. If you get too close to this elite he will chase you down until you're dead and trust me, you will die. This elite is no joke, luckily if you stay at my blue circle on the map you won't run into him. The downside of this is there are a few quests to be done over here which means this area can become over crowded. Also people know this is a "safe" area.

Select the Macro you wish to delete in the 'Macro Window' and then click the
'Delete' option at the bottom of the window.

Commands

/Skill Enter '/Skill [skill name]' in the Enter Macro Command box of the Edit
Macro Window. You need to enter the exact name of the skill, including spaces,
to run the macro properly.

Ex) /Skill Ferocious Strike II

/Use Enter '/Use [item name]' accurately in the Enter Macro Command box of the
Edit Macro Window.

Ex) /Use Mercenary Canteen

/QuickBar x y z Enter '/Quickbar [quickbar type] [number of quickbar rows]
[quickbar number]' in the Enter Macro Command box of the Edit Macro Window. The
numbers for quickbar types are: Basic Quickbar (1), Alt Quickbar (2), Ctrl
Quickbar (3), and Right Quickbar (4).

/Delay Delay is measured in seconds.

EX) / Delay 3 - This will cause the Macro to wait 3 seconds before performing
the next item on the script.

/Chatcommand Chat Enter '/[chat mode] [text]' in the Enter Macro Command box
of the Edit Macro Window.

Ex) /Whisper Hi there!

You can enter [%Yourself], [%Pet], [%Group1~5], [%Pet1~5], [%Target],

/Variable You can assign variables to frequently used names by entering
/Variable [0~9] [name] in the Enter Macro Command box of the Edit Macro Window.

Ex) /Variable 0 Minor Potion of Life

You can compose macros more easily by registering variables assigned to long
names. Assigned variables can be checked in the Variable tab of the Macro Window.

Ex) /Use #Variable 0 - uses a Minor Potion of Life.

Parameters
%Self Use when selecting yourself
%Pet Use when selecting your pet
%PartyN_Pet Use when selecting a pet that belongs to the party member N
%Support Select the target of the chosen target
%AutomaticSelect Auto Select (Shortcut : Tab)

Variables

You can Assign Variables by entering /variable [0-9] [name] in the Edit Macro
Window.

/Variable 0 Secret Remedy of Life

/Use [%Variable0]

Delay

This sets the duration of wait time between command executions. Make note that
the Global Cooldown is about 1 second long. Yet, with latency and other issues,
sometimes it can be a few millisecond more than a second. For this reason, when
using starter abilities (or any non chain ability) and the first chain ability
I suggest using a delay of 1.5 seconds.

Ex)
/Skill Weakening Severe Blow II
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Ferocious Strike II
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Robust Blow II

When using multiple types of chains (i.e. if we wanted to use Rage II first,
unless its on cooldown, then we want to use Roboust Blow II and Wrath Strike I
chain instead) you can then use a delay of 1 second. Since technically Rage is
our first chain ability activation it receives a delay of 1.5. We want Robust
Blow II and Wrath Strike I to be used IF Rage II is on Cooldown. Thus, those
are our 2nd and 3rd chain ability activations.

Ex)
/Skill Weakening Severe Blow II
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Ferocious Strike II
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Rage II
/Delay 1
/Skill Robust Blow II
/Delay 1
/Skill Wrath Strike I

After The final chain ability, if you are wanting to go back to a starter
ability (or any non-chain abillity) you revert back to a delay of 1.5. Again
this is to ensure latency issues are taken into account.

Ex)
/Skill Weakening Severe Blow II
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Ferocious Strike II
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Rage II
/Delay 1
/Skill Robust Blow II
/Delay 1.
/Skill Wrath Strike I
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Provoking Severe Blow I
/Delay 1.5
/Skill Shining Slash I

Tips From NCSoft

- Dragging a skill, function, emotion, Quickbar or item icons onto the Enter
Macro Command box of the Edit Macro Window enters the command automatically

- You cannot enter another macro within a macro.

- Some commands may require sufficient cooldown time between the execution of
commands.

- Macros are stopped when there is not enough MP or HP to execute a skill, or
when there is no target.

- You can use the Example tab to see how you can use commands.

- You cannot use macro commands in the Chat window.

- You can Cut & Paste from an external program such as Notepad. So, even though
you can only have 12 built macros, you can quickly and easily switch them out
if you store your Macros.

-Macros built on one character will NOT carry over to a new or different character.

Aion Tailoring Guide, Tailoring Secret Tips Trick

Prologue
I’ve been playing NAion since closed beta. I never played CAion and therefore my knowledge on tailoring might not be as extensive as those who did. My main MMO experience background is 2 years playing SWG from launch up to the NGE nerf, and still playing EVE Online for 4 years now. I never played WoW, so I’m afraid direct comparisons won’t be made in the guide. Those who played EVE and its industrial side (mainly mining and manufacturing) might know me under the name Halada. I wrote a 90+ pages PDF guide on industry that evolved over the 3 last years. Writing material to help others is something I like to do, and while this won’t be as extensive as my EVE guide, I hope to make it as clear and concise as possible!

Introduction
Tailoring (also referred to as sewing) is a crafting profession that allows crafting of cloth and leather armor, as well as certain accessories such as belts and hats. Cloth armor is mainly used by Spiritmasters and Sorcerers, while leather is used mainly by Assassins and rangers. Since those classes are all very popular, there is money to be made in that profession. I will cover profits later in this guide.

Tailoring therefore is mostly suited for the aforementioned classes. It is not the most lucrative profession (although at this point it is hard to debate about the value of any profession so early in the game) but being able to craft your own set yourself is worth the investment alone. Later if you choose to become Expert in tailoring (you can master two professions in Aion, but learn them all if you wish. More on mastering later) there will be great profit in blue and orange items.

Aion Gear
Aion has an extensive collection of gear for all classes. You can acquire gear via the following means:
-Mob drops. They will drop white (common item), green (rare item) or blue (legend item) gear pieces. Elite mobs can also drop orange (Unique item) gear.
-NPC Vendor. There are NPC vendors across the entire Aion Universe. They sell common (white) items only (I’ve yet to find one selling green gear. Correct me if I’m wrong).
-Trade Broker (Auction House). This is where players sell gear they’ve either crafted or picked up from mobs.
-Quest Rewards. Many quests will reward you with a gear piece. You cannot however sell it on the AH. Your options is to either use it, sell it to a General NPC Vendor (not recommended) or de-enchant it using extraction tools to get an enchantment stone out of it.
-Abyss vendor. Referred to as divine items, these are sold either in your Capitol Building in your main city, or at the Abyss fortress. These is a green, blue and orange variety for each level range. The abyss is an amazing aspect of Aion. In the land of PvP, each mob or player (of the opposing faction) you kill grants you Abyss Points (AP) which you can then use to purchase special Abyss gear.
-Crafted items. This will be the scope of this guide.

Crafting armor and accessories
Tailoring allows you to craft white, green or blue items. It is possible for these items to “crit” or “proc” into its next color level (a white item “crits” to green, or green “crits” to blue, etc. Proc’ing will be covered later). Crafted items of any level will always be superior to its mob drop equivalent, sometimes very much so, and same color items with its comparable Abyss counterpart will either be on par or superior. A crafted blue gear set will last you for a good 10 levels and will be highly sought on the AH. Crafted items will not be superior to elite mobs drops and perhaps the best Abyss gear available (I have not yet done a full comparison), however the tl:dr version of this story is that crafted gear is high quality and superior gear that is worth the trouble of making.

Learning the profession
To learn Tailoring you must go to the crafting quarters of your capital city and talk to the Expert Tailor. Learn the profession by selecting the first option. Press “K” and head to the craft tab, Tailoring should appear there with a 1/99 bar. This is your skill level for that profession. The maximum level you can get to is 450P.

Leveling Tailoring
All you need to level professions is time and Kinahs. No character level prerequisite is needed, nor any questing (except the 2 expert quests you need to become an expert to reach 400P).

The best way to level your profession is via Work Orders, which are given from the Expert Tailor in the same room where the sewing machines are. For your first orders, when talking to the NPC, you`ll see work orders available formatted as such: “Work-Order-Name [___P]”. You’ll start with 1P work orders (which stand for 1 point (level) order).

The first ten levels (from 1P to 10P) are done by repeating the 1P work order for which all the materials (mats) are given to you by the NPC. To start crafting, head close to a sewing machine, double left click (or right-click) the machine, select your work order. At the bottom right corner you`ll be able to set the quantity of items you want to craft. Alternatively you can press the “craft all” button, which will craft as many items you can craft with the quantity of mats you have in your cube.

Simply do the works order, turn it in, and repeat until you reach 10P. As I said the first work order has all the mats already provided, so it`s a free way of leveling. Once you reach 10/99 (10P) a new work order will be available. You can either switch to this one (which allows you to level faster, more on this later) or repeat the free 1P work order until you reach 40P (so you level more slowly, but you do it for free, it`s a compromise to be made). At 40P the 1P work order will no longer be available so you`ll need to start buying work order supplies at that point.

Tip: Use a machine directly near the Expert tailor. Place yourself at the center point of the distance between the machine and the NPC. This allows you to craft, then once you`re done with the order simply right-click the NPC and turn it in without having to walk to her. It`ll speed things up and makes it less tedious.

Work orders… how many and how
Starting at 10P you’ll be supplied with SOME mats, a part of the required mats. The rest must be purchased from the supplies vendor (who is in the same room as the Expert Tailor). Leveling with work orders is the cheapest method – the only other way is to craft items from designs (recipes), which is way more expansive and not a recommended method. There is no supplies you will need to farm or buy from the AH – from 1P all the way to 399P, all is available at the supplies vendor.

Each time an item is crafted you will gain XP – as if you were grinding mobs. This is a rewarding factor of profession leveling – even though you might spend hours grinding work orders, you can still level your character as well. In fact, I leveled to 31 from the very beginning of 30 by leveling tailoring from 1P to 399P… that is several millions XP.

You do not get XP by successfully completing a work order. Instead, you are rewarded with a random item. This could be materials you can use later to craft items from designs, or it could be a design itself. Design rewards are what you’re looking for. You can be rewarded with white, green and even blue designs by turning in work orders. The level of the item the design will allow you to craft depends of the level of the work order. Example: work orders from level 200P to 250P will reward you with designs meant to craft items for level 33.

Now, as far as leveling the profession is concerned, there are two methods.

The fast way: to level as quickly as possible, you can repeat and grind the highest work order available. You get a new one every 10P. The Export Tailor will always only have four levels of work orders available (example: you’re at 49P. The Export Tailor will have 10P, 20P, 30P and 40P work orders available for you to choose. Once you reach 50P, the 10P work order will no longer be available, and you’ll only be able to pick 20P, 30P, 40P and 50P orders). You’ll get fewer designs this way, but you’ll level faster.

The slower way: This is the method I used, because even though it is more expansive and slower, it gets you more designs in the end. What I did was to craft the last three available work orders. If I was at 45P and wanted to work my way to 50P, I’d craft work orders 20P, 30P and 40P repeatedly until I reached 50P, then would craft work orders 30P, 40P and 50P until I got to 60P, so on and so on. This allows me to get the maximum number of designs and is also less tedious.

Word of advice: if you’d like to have all the juicy green designs for each level range (gear sets are available every 5 levels, 18, 23, 28, 33, 38, etc) remember that once you hit 300P, you’ll only have access to 260P, 270, 280P and 290P work orders. So if you are missing some of the Worthy Xilix designs for level 33 and you level too quickly before you can get all designs, you won’t be able to get them from the work orders ever again. A reminder: level 33 designs come from 200P to 250P work orders. Your alternative will be the AH. So if having all the designs for all level (38,33, 28, 23…) is important to you, keep repeating the same work order until you do, hoping you’ll get them all before you level to the point where you can’t get them anymore.

Once you reach 99P you’ll need to talk to the Expert Tailor and pay to get your upgrade to level 100. Then grind work orders until you reach 199P and you’ll need to visit her again for 200P, and the same for 300P. Once you reach 399P you’ll be offered an Expert Quest to get to 400P. More on that later.

Leveling… what does it cost?
You’ll need Kinahs for two things. The first is to buy supplies to complete work orders, and the second is to pay for each level upgrades.

The cost of supplies to complete each level is approximately the following:
1-99 65k
100-199 175k
200-299 500k
300-399 1mil

All-in-all, using the slow method described above and including the upgrade fees, you’ll be spending 2.5-3mil Kinahs to get from 1-399. Yes, it is expansive, and so early in the game, less than a month after launch, it is not recommended to sprint your way to 399 like I did, hoping to get Expert first and craft some REALLY juicy gear that can only be made from 400P+ designs. Why and when will be discussed shortly.

Craft all or not
The Expert Tailor will always supply more mats than you need to complete the quest… usually you’ll have enough for 2x extra items. This is in case some fail. If you failed too many times and are out of NPC supplied mats, you’ll need to abandon the quest and start over.
Whether you press craft all or manually set the quantity you need is up to you. Since you get XP each time you craft an item (and not from turning the quest in), you’ll level faster by crafting all you can each time. This will however cost you more Kinahs in the end, as you’ll end up using more supplies as well.

Designs
Designs are needed to craft all items. All white designs in existence are available at the supplies vendor in the tailoring room. They’re cheap, and some can proc into green items. Green and blue designs are either rewarded from work orders, or dropped from mobs. You’ll find some on the AH as well.

Proc’ing or crit’ing
Certain designs have the chance to proc (or crit) into a better item than the original item the design is meant to craft. Sometimes a green design can crit into a better green item with improved stats or it can even crit into a blue item. To know if your design can crit into another color or not, open the designs list (press K, then double click the Tailoring level bar, this will open the crafting window with all designs) then CTRL+right-click a design. This will place a yellow link in your chat bar: click on it one to open a new window. Hover the mouse over the design and two new windows will pop beside it, indicating the basic item it produces and what it can crit in.

CRIT’ING IS TOTALLY RANDOM! I wrote it in bold capital letters, because this question comes every day. To this day there is no known mechanics that help you increase your chances of crit’ing. Your tailoring level DOES NOT affect your chances of getting a proc: it only lowers the chance of failure in relation to the level of the design itself. There are many rumors about it, but nothing is confirmed. So far it is accepted that getting procs is random and there’s nothing you can do to improve your chances. I’ll dispense you of my opinion about this ridiculous aspect of crafting.

If you successfully get a proc, you’ll hear a buzz at the end of the crafting of the item, and rather than hear a bling and see the item appear in your cube, you’ll see a new crafting window appear with a new progress bar for the proc item. This one can fail just like the basic one can.

Again, there is nothing special to do to get a proc. It is totally chance based. All you can do is press that craft button and pray to the Gods of Kobol that they grant you a proc, or something similar in nature. Whatever divine beings you worship may or may not affect the proc rate at this time.

You should also know some items can proc twice…Xilix Textile for example, can proc into Fine Xilix Textile and then proc again into Superb Xilix Textile in the same session.

400P, also known as the WOW THAT’S AN EXPENSIVE EXPERT QUEST!
Once you reach 399P you’ll be able to get the first expert quest from the Expert Tailor. It’ll be listed under the work orders. The first quest isn’t too hard to do. You need to craft a Aion Item (green), which is obtained by proc’ing the Aion Item (white). This is a white design and is available at the supplies vendor. Since it is chance based, you could proc at your first try, or 10 tries later. For this reason, the quest can be expansive to do, but is doable already so early in the stage of the NAion if you have the money.

Once you turn it in, you’ll get another expert quest. This time, you need to craft a Aion Item (blue) by proc’ing the Aion Item design (green). This design is rewarded from the 390P work order, so you’ll need to grind and repeat it until you get it, or you find it on the AH. A simple look at the required mats will tell you the basic item is already extremely expansive to craft. The fluxes needed for it are dropped from mobs lvl40+ and will be hugely expensive to purchase on AH. Add the fact you need it to proc, and you’re looking at several millions kinahs to get it done.

Therefore, the path to 399P->400P is almost ridiculously too hard. However if you manage, you’ll get access to some insane designs that grants you the privilege of crafting sick gear. Upon the expert ceremony you will receive an Aion Item design, which can proc to orange, with superb stats. An example of an awesome 400P design would be this cloth jerkin: Aion Item. Look at those stats, and drool!

Farming or buying off AH
So early in NAion it is obvious the prices on the broker are totally unbalanced. Gear sells massively under auto-prices while mats sell massively over them. Because more than ¾ is under level 25 at the time of this writing on most servers, you’ll find high-end mats required for the better higher level gear are very expensive. Even the basic mats such as Xilix is sold for 2k a piece of my server!

Why is that? The grinding of vitality and aether extract is long and tedious. Many are prioritizing leveling their character rather than their profession of gathering skills, so the idea of having to grind vitality extract to 220 so you can farm that Xilix in the first place might not be attractive – especially since the better recipes require you make green or blue textiles, which means proc’ing the textile design once or twice. You’ll need several hundred pieces of Xilix to make enough textile so that you can get a dozen green Xilix textile mats.

Which begs the questions: is it worth it to grind and farm my stuff or can I make money buying it off AH? The answer is probably obvious, but in fact it is not. Short the fluxes, you can farm all your material easily. You simply need time and patience. That Xilix for example is easily found and you’ll have no problem farming a 1000 in a few hours. Green ore can also be farmed easily… sell the regular kind and keep the green, though the drop rate is ridiculously low, so for every 50 ore pieces you extracted, maybe 2 or 3 will be green, and 1 will be blue.

The problem involves the armor fluxes. Their drop rate is ridiculously low, and you need many. Even grinding mobs for many hours might fetch you only a couple fluxes. You’ll undoubtedly find the need to turn to the broker to get your fluxes. Even doing so, there is profit to be made with tailoring, especially with blue items (which you can sell for such a high price that it will recover any losses you might have encountered). Buying EVERYTHING off the AH is not advisable if you plan to make money with the profession: any profit margin you have to green items will be eaten away. If you’re leveling tailoring to craft your own blue set, then it might be worth doing so.

Morphing
The morphing skill is not well understood. There is no grinding to be done there. Morphing allows you to do two things: the first is to use aether and transform it into mats, such as ore, rawhide, etc. The second use is to make armor fluxes. Just like any other crafting professions, you’ll need designs to do this, and these designs are only available in the Abyss fortresses. This means your faction needs to control them to get inside them. If you’re playing Elyos I’m afraid you’ll need to rely on the AH

Each Abyss fortress has a Quartermaster inside. Each will sell unique designs for morphing materials, but all of them sell the same designs for morphing armor fluxes. So to get all mats morphing designs you’ll need to visit each fortress at least once. Once the design is learned, you simply need to open the skills window by pressing K, head to craft, then double click “Morph Substances”, and the recipes will appear there. Morphing can be done anywhere and does not require any instruments.

For mats, you need
1) Aether in different forms (powder, crystal, gem…)

Example: 1x Aion Item can be morphed into 2 pieces of Aion Item, and 1 Aion Item morphed into 2 pieces of strong rawhide.

To morph armor fluxes you need
1) One armor flux the level above the the fluxes you want to get
2) One catalyst, which is sold by NPC supplies vendors of all crafts. Catalysts go from 599 kinahs to 239 000 kinahs a piece depending of the level you need.

One flux and a catalyst will provide 3 fluxes of the level under it.

Example: to get 3x Aion Item (green), you need one Aion Item (blue) and one Aion Item. This recipe will grant you the 3x Worthy Major Accessory Fluxes. As it stands, morphing is a viable solution for certain fluxes type, and those with entrepreneurship will quickly find a way to use the system to their advantage.

Show me the money
I will keep this short since I haven’t played the market long enough to make a definite assessment. I’ve crafted about 30 green pieces so far. I can tell you blue items sell extremely quickly, even with a premium price on them. It’s easy to assume people are ready to pay a premium for the best gear they can find on AH. The profit margin on blue items is very high, so much that depending how many green items you had to make before getting a proc, you might end up more than enough money to keep going. Green crafted items are superior to mob drops and even Abyss gear of the same level in the first few tiers, therefore it can sell well, but with a much lower profit margin than blue gear. Whereas you can make an easy 300k profit selling blue gear, you’ll be lucky to make 50k with green items. The issue resolves around the fact than even though crafted green is better than mob drops, it is only marginally so, whereas the price difference can be huge. A green mob drop will sell for 50k whereas a green crafted item (of same level) will sell for twice as much, if not more. Most people are too broke at this stage of the game to afford paying double price for an only marginally better item. Over the next months, this should stabilize when money is easier to come by.

Once you hit expert though, it is said to be entirely worth it, as the crafted gears is so much superior than any available kind that they will not only sell well, but the chance of proc’ing gold gear is also something to look forward to!

Conclusion
I hope this short guide helped to answer some of your questions. I’ll make sure to keep it updated as much as possible as the game evolves over the next months! Do not hesitate to post in the thread and ask your questions, or point out mistakes that were made in the guide.

Sincerest regards,
Haladia
